actually that jumper is meant to be paired with a switch like the BitFenix Hydra Pro can toggle on/off

I had a CM690II and the front LED switch is a no go with bitfenix fans because of the connectors being both "females" on the 690II and the fans

Well, they don't have high RPM and speed but i find them suitable for HSF mount, I done a test and will show in my review on the BitFenix spectre pros in a while

even the pro version is just bridging the connectors, just fancier compared to a staples lol, you don't need extra voltage for the fans, brightness of the LED will dim when the fan is supplied lower voltage, spins slower too this is the same for the pro version

that'll depend on how sensitive your ears are, the max speed these F12 runs on is 1400rpm, my own exp? can hear but definitely not too annoying, it'll be drowned by the GPU while gaming anyways if you have a quiet/voltage adaptor you could use that or even a fan controller will do.. 7V on the adaptor or 1000rpm on the F12 is whisper quiet... but you do get slight increase in temps if its mounted on the HSF

Sure it's okay, the fan will run nonetheless but at full speed and nothing in between. The idea of a fan controller is so that you could slow the fans down to get a good balance of noise and cooling but Gentle typhoons are relatively quiet for their speed, else opt for a slower fan

well if you're getting exhaust fans, any fans will do actually but the GT are supposedly suited for radiator mounts, you could always use a 7V or a 5V adaptor to the fans to control the speed as well

Doesn't work that way and with not much gain at all so no, it doesn't double the CFM.

Worse still you could create turbulence which recycles the hot air instead of dissipating it with a stacked fan setup and probably will get worse cooling than a single fan, hence why HSF manufacturers stopped doing that a long time ago.

The only way to disrupt this is to stack fans that rotates the opposite directions..and thats another hickup.. not many fans will spin counter-clock wise AND remember, with little gain.

delta fans? any results on that post? because from what I've read and seen the gain is about 1-2 degrees C with fan stacking you could try it, not much to purchase when stacking fans and see the results, if it's favourable then keep it that way

Should be louder than without them thats' for sure, I thought the 410 comes with a fan controller built-in? but anyhow these fans are all supposedly high quality so it shouldn't be too loud to the extent that it's gonna be annoying or intrusive

What chassis you're using that require the 230mm??

Take the Artic F12, should be quality enough, if you're looking for LED fans, the Xigmatek are an affordable bunch

not necessary to be installed, you'd only need a fan there if you find the cooling in your chassis is insufficient
