For those who installed HID, what is the color temperature that you choose? 5000K? Any other advice on selecting HID?
Still considering for my next upgrade.

QUOTE(onesky @ Dec 16 2012, 03:24 PM) For those who installed HID, what is the color temperature that you choose? 5000K? Any other advice on selecting HID? I personally prefer 4300k as it is slightly yellowish, attract less attention during roadblock and better visibility on wet road at night. 6000k is so white that it already look a bit bluish. Higher than that, it will start to look purplelish.Still considering for my next upgrade. Just remember to mount the bulb, ballast and all wiring properly. A lot of people have burnt headlamp housing because bulb not mounted properly and get dislodged when HID in use, not really because HID generates more heat. |

Hi guys,
Went to my mechanic for a service today and were talking about hybrid cars, he told me to stay away from hybrid cars due to radiation emitted from them. Didn't quite believe him till I Google-d it. Is Radiation From Hybrid Vehicles Cause for Concern? What the manufacturers specifications of Hybrid cars don't include! So just wondering do any of you feel migraine, headache, drowsiness and etc while driving for a long period of time? Not trying to stir up anything, just wanted to know from the drivers than some article without facts and data. |

QUOTE(Paper_Panda @ Dec 17 2012, 01:41 PM) Hi guys, I've had my car since January this year. Thus far, everything is alright for me. I clock a lot of hours in the car and so far nothing. I had more headaches etc when I was driving my Myvi a year back. Hahah. And even when driving long distance down south or up north, nothing but the usual. I'm not saying those articles are true nor untrue. Just how I feel so far driving my Insight. QUOTE(local_machine @ Dec 17 2012, 03:02 PM) Enjoy...this morning, low fuel sign appear, 530km from full tank, not bad... However, when i collect my car, the SA didnt check the tyre pressure, after almost 4th day of driving, only realise the pressure not right, when check at patrol station found out that the pressure only around 25, by right should be around 32 rear, 33 front. This impact the FC alot. So remember to check the pressure. Safe drive~~~ This post has been edited by RickRock: Dec 17 2012, 03:31 PM |

You must be counting down the time to get off work. anyway, my wife decided to pick me up after work with the new insight yeaaaay! 1st thing to do is to go to the nearest petrol station and check your tyre pressure, new cars are always either under or over pressure. |

Our projector headlamp is good to use anything 5000k and above. 4300k is like OEM lights. I tested both 4300k and 6000k bulbs. Well, still prefer the "more white" bulbs of 6000k. Still considering for my next upgrade. Get a decent brand of HID and don't spend RM100-200 for those China made one, they don't last long and quality may not be as good. |

Furthermore, hope not to cause any vision distraction to other road user. I encounter some cars have very bright light (8000K perhaps) that force me to curse them.Get a decent brand of HID and don't spend RM100-200 for those China made one, they don't last long and quality may not be as good. Take my car for a drive tonite, noticed that the light projection on road is not equal between left and right head light. The right is somewhat shorter than left. Normal?

@local_machine
Left Headlamp is higher than right Headlamp is normal. Reason behind, not to glare the opposite driver. If you think is too short distance, you still able to manual adjust the headlamp height tilt by checking your owner manual. |
