I had free service for labor & parts for 1st 1K, 5K & 10K or within 6 months. Such a good saving for 6 months period.

wow...this promotion came at the right time for me...my 40k service gonna due this month..probably gonna cost more than 1k for car servicing this round

Added on December 6, 2012, 11:10 amhmnn...it seems like the squealing sound was caused by rubber flap at the top of the windshield as it vibrates when the car cruises above 8-kmh

it is KO for service at 10K as compulsory rules by Honda Malaysia is each 5K.

You can check with their service maintenance.

However :
1)If you wish to go for 10K service interval , then no more warranty for your car...
2)If you have great connection with Service Advisor, then anything also can happen...
3)Get New Civic Hybrid which introduce 10K service interval.

Just done my 20k service, SA allowed me to change the air filter on next service.
Thinking to change something new or stick to Honda. Is anyone here using K&N filter? How is the performance? Mind to share the price and where to get it?

i still service every 5k tho. just that the time that took me to reach 5k is very long since i did not use the car for half a year. I just kept quiet and the service advisor didnt say anything lol.

For insight fl 2012, how much to to insure ur car, how much are you paying for the insurance?

Next month so painful, insurance 2.7k loan 1.3k plus service 1k( estimate)

I went for the Safety Driving Course before in 2007 and YES I got a call from Honda that I am chosen to go for the Eco Driving Course on Sunday ...!!!

Of course I can share no problem :]..

It was held in Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang, quite difficult to find for the first time as I went in from the wrong side -.-, forturnately Honda placed a lot of helpful signboards. 

In summary the day went like this, from 10am to 5.40pm.
Registration+Breakfast, theory session, practical session (drove to Putrajaya & back), lunch, practical session again (drove to KLIA & back & challenge for MAXIMUM FUEL EFFICIENCY, champion received a prize), tea break & closing ceremony.

The cars provided were the same as ours, Insight Facelift and 2 City. For the drive to KLIA I achieved an efficiency of 27.3 km/L which I think was quite good, better than my own Insight for now as it's relatively new and not 'run in' yet and still using default mineral engine oil. The champion achieved a WHOPPING 30.5 km/L, they turned the air-con off and really drove like feather.............. Most of the cars almost never even exceeded 70km/hr (speed limit was 80km/hr).

Safety precautions & correct driving attitude were of course emphasized & taught before we started driving...

As a side note I brought my mum there since it was mother's day .....!!!!!
