Hi, I notice a lot owners also encounter the alarm buzzer issue.
Question: Will it be better that when collect insight, request the SA to enable to alarm buzzer sound? They should know how to do it right? |

QUOTE(babysmile @ Dec 10 2012, 01:56 PM) @RickRock I watched the video shared on the 1st page. Where can I get the default pin? Is all insight have the same default pin? SA doesn't know how to enable the alarm buzzer. This alarm buzzer is only discover by one of our insight owner from Lowyat. But so far all the owner are very happy and doesn't have any problem on this issue. Another thing, the auto center lock, I check with SA, mention currently all Honda model including Insight, will not auto center lock, is it true? Any DIY way to enable it? |

Hey guys, just collect my car today. So far so good, meet my expectation.
The auto start stop engine thingy really need some time to get use to it. Been wondering will this bring any bad impact to the engine if stuck in jam... As a beginner, I will keep on looking at the multi-display, which is a bit distract, should be norm after few days. Where can I get insight accessories? Drive to few PJ, sunway shop, cant find any which sell particular accessories for insight, maybe is not that common. I want to buy rubber mat, and trunk tray... T_T |

Question, do any of you warm up insight engine every morning before start to drive?
This morning, I start my car and saw a blue sign on the left side of the multi-meter. after around 1-2min, the sign turn off. |

QUOTE(babysmile @ Dec 12 2012, 04:47 PM) @RickRock You can check the car manual first. the blue sign on left is engine still in low temperature. No big deal. I just start the car early in the morning then just drive off. You may want to warm up the car if you like... But no need press the petrol pedal to make it fast warm the engine. This will only waste more petrol. Maybe you can ask this with your sales advisor and share with us on the feedback. QUOTE(lifeseries @ Dec 12 2012, 05:20 PM) Bro, normally engine sound is loud in the morning, its warming up..after that was ok i think the blue sign is Hot Temperature. You only need to worry if is not disappeared.. QUOTE(apowerfulskill @ Dec 12 2012, 07:52 PM) Yeah it just shows that your engine temperature is still low. Just need to warm up. Leave your engine on for a while. No need to rev the engine etc. As said before this, if it doesn't disappear then you have something to worry about! I see, thanks for the clarification. I think best is turn on the engine let it warm up for few minutes, then only start the journey. Now the FC still not good, everyday Puchong <-> PJ, getting 16km/l. Hopefully will improve once run in... Feel like a bit guilty to hit the acceleration when during insight |

QUOTE(local_machine @ Dec 17 2012, 03:02 PM) Enjoy...this morning, low fuel sign appear, 530km from full tank, not bad... However, when i collect my car, the SA didnt check the tyre pressure, after almost 4th day of driving, only realise the pressure not right, when check at patrol station found out that the pressure only around 25, by right should be around 32 rear, 33 front. This impact the FC alot. So remember to check the pressure. Safe drive~~~ This post has been edited by RickRock: Dec 17 2012, 03:31 PM |

Hi,
I downloaded the maintenance fee excel file. Inside there is an item call "Dust and Pollen Filter". Is this the cabin air filter that located inside the glove box? Which we can DIY change it easily? The Dust and Pollen Filter cost more than RM100! Better we DIY. save alot... hehe |
