for non-emmc models, going back to 1.0.4 eng is not a bad idea since it works ok.
only thing is the normal xbmc isn't going to work with 720dd/dts or 1080p streaming.
and i think there is no mangotv in it.

for my non-emmc unit, i continued with 1.0.6 china but manually installed the hiplayer xbmc 12.2 version from the 1.0.6 emmc eng.
this versions works fine overall with all 720 or 1080.
of course, no playstore...

after so long, i fear they may not come out with 1.0.6 non-emmc eng... maybe go straight to 1.0.7?
my experience with another intl media player manufacturer is once the old chipset gets too little demand, they will not bother to upgrade the firmware. 2 years is a good bet. How old are the non emmc models now? 1, 1.5yrs?

Got a reminder of the xbmc limitations last night. Also for some reason Gallery icon is missing. However it is still a better situation for me compared to the 1.0.6 Chinese version. I hope they do release 1.0.6 en non emmc. 1.0.7 would not be too bad either as long as it works. I think I may send an email to Himedia reminding them about the English version.  Fingers crossed.

Yes, all the popular english channel u mentioned is provided too. All all is in HD.
The picture is very great and sound is 2.1 instead of 1.0 like cloudtv.
But.... 1 thing to mention that, the subtitle is in chinese character even the voice is original english. So if u are chinese, should be great for u.

Yes, this 1, should be the official side of Season IPTV. I bought from the china seller recommended by this side too. Service is ok since he answered all my question at QQ.

Be note that, there are plenty of china seller for season service at taobao, also few local seller here who selling at pretty high price (around rm360 annually). I asked why they selling at such high price since official price is just 360rmb (around rm200), he answered me: "you can buy it much cheaper from taobao, but nobody will serve you if your id got problem".

But at last, i decided to buy from taobao as their service satisfied me, any problem just feedback at QQ, they will answer anytime. The forum also a place for feedback though.

I had played this service for whole night, so far so good, around 200++ channel in total and still increasing as you can see some testing channel is tag in stability testing. Almost half is HD channel and found hongkong drama channel is in super HD, i was "wow" by the picture quality.
So far, all famous china satelite TV are working and even streaming much better than cloudtv during peak hour.

For detail channel list, i think you can found on the mainpage. Conclusion, this season iptv, if you buy from taobao, is definitely worth its price and for sure, you will dump cloudtv away once u use it.

the season iptv got the feature like cloudtv to enable second device in the same network to use the same account to watch the live channel?

No, as far as i know, season service not yet got this kind of feature.
Each id is bind to the 1st logging device. But, if your machine mac address is changed after u flashed or upgraded firmware,
it can be unlock and rebind to new mac as customer request.

Hmmm... Might wanna try season iptv. How are the Popular English HD channels? Any idea of pq on like a 50" inch led screen? Trying to avoid purchasing only to find out pq is quite crappy.

I am using latest sony 50" 3D LED TV, i duno how much PQ u are chasing for.... but if comparing to CloudTV, the ENglish Channel and HD PQ is more better for me.
And most importantly, the sound is all stereo (2.1) instead of 1.0 in cloudtv.
