QUOTE(sunghajung11 @ Jan 11 2013, 05:28 PM) they are both equally as good... price is more or less the same @ RM1.8k to RM2k...it depends on which shifter shape you like and whether you can live with the double tap shifting of SRAM? other than that, weight differences are considered to be minimal for that price between the both although the SRAM shifter is lighter than the ST5700 by a whole 100 grams... if you consider WiFLI... then SRAM is the definite way to go in that respective area... ok, it's around 2800+ grammish vs 3400 gram for Apex and 105 respectively...if you want to be a weight weenie... but i would not judge entry level groupset by it's weight... since that is not their primary aim during development...

QUOTE(sunghajung11 @ Jan 11 2013, 05:45 PM) you can read about ithttp://www.sram.com/sram/road/technologies/wifli_tm if you want wide ratio cassettes... SRAM's entire line up has it now... although Shimano has recently launch something similar as well, but it is hard to find in KL their long cage derailleurs... |

QUOTE(mrjgx @ Jan 11 2013, 06:39 PM) Woah! What bike is that bro? Looks classic and yet a beauty.. don't know what bike is that.. but it sure looks pretty...Anyway, between a wheel or frame upgrades which one will have the most significant feeling in terms of everything? Ride feeling especially. what sort of ride feeling?? comfort, power transfer? if say, you are already at a mid level carbon frame... 100 dollar question is whether you can feel the additional BB or general frame torsional stiffness of a better and more expensive... on the other hand, a wheel upgrade can be say for instance your FR0 to a set of 202 carbon clinchers... which should see minor punchier accelerations and stuff like tat...if you have a Shimano RS-10 and upgrade to 202, of course it'll feel like heaven and hell... it's all about how big a gap you are trying to close... if you have a bigger gap, the more you feel or in my words.. the easier you notice the difference...
