The replicas in a watches sense is where the watch looks exactly the same as the original, at least it tried to be as close as possible to the real thing, but it is not real make in China stuff. Durability is not a ceteria and quality should be inferior by a mile. A noob like me don't understand the term within the context of the bike world, amateurish mistakes!

i mean it's semantics la... if it is something limited and unusual like a team bike, world champions bike... then they call it a replica, authentic replica la at least...
takkan u buat replica for a normal road bike available to the mass public rite?

to me, if it's a fake, just call it a fake la. the worst kind of sellers are those who refuse to admit that they sell fake stuff. don't believe me? try la asking some of those fellas over at bbs selling fake stuff
i remember years back, there were "Grade A" stuff. and then some of them claim their stuff as "Grade AA" to distinguish from their competitors. now "Grade AAA". after this? "Grade A-hole"?

psychologically.. it is called a replica to make you feel better mar....
would you prefer to tell your GF or wife that you bought a fake LV bag for her??? or would you prefer to tell her that you bought a replica LV bag for her??? or a Grade AAA replica... so that she does not think that you are a friggin cheapskate..
the more complicated it sounds, the better it is... and the easier they accept that you are treating them like queen even though you spent a fraction of the price buying them a totally fake one...
so, it's li tat lar.. seller want to capture buyer mindset by convincing them it is a grade better than the so called fakes where in actual fact it is the same damn fake frame that is made most likely from the same factory and has the same blardy defects of the fake shitz.. and they get to charge you a premium for being a Grade AAA replica... and they will convince you that it is every damn bit as good as the real one...
same thing i go amcorp mall see audio stuff... there is this shop that sells all china audio stuff... and i was looking at this china made fake of a very well known amplifer which most probably is sold for less than 10% of the real thing... boss says, it sounds every bit like the real one.. no difference one... you are just paying for a name... so, it depends on whether you accept getting conned by the boss lar in my opinion? if you are pressed for money and you damn hell want that branded shit that you cannot afford... fake / so called replica will have to do first lor...
it's li tat one lar.. got "giam siap" people sure got "giam siap" market one... and it's a damn good market.. don't even do marketing and people already recognize your fake brand... and people like it somemore, which is even worst..
WTF!!!

for longer rides... it's always better to refill wherever possible... if two bottles is not enough... always carry one smaller disposable bottle in your jersey pockets...finish that first and then dump it mid-ride (into a rubbish bin lar, you don't want to be a litter bug rite?)
if on longer rides... water alone is not hydrating sufficiently... you need to replenish some salts you lose through sweating... any form of isotonic drink helps more or less..
as they say, enjoy the ride and get to stop and admire the surroundings whenever you can... whether it is a watermelon stall or just a regular 7-11.... you don't have a team to follow you and hand you water bottles and food... i think that is not the actual welds lar... it must have been grinded down to that smooth finish... titanium i know is the hardest shit to weld among the few metals... it keeps moving about and usually ends up with unsightly welds...
thanks for the tips. Definitely taking time to enjoy the view especially after a climb.
