No, I'm not jumping ship. I'm going to stick with Mercury until quad core CSL comes. And yes, G600 has only one sim slot.

Normally, I don't like MTK 6577 processors, but in this case, the specs are just great.

Don't hold your breath too long bro, or rather put your hope too high. The GPU is not that great and it going to have to power the resolution of that high. In the end, something has to give. Anyway, it is indeed a good spec at a good price.

agree. there has been a quite significant improvement (processing power) on mediatek's chip back from 6573, 6575 and current 6577. Sadly they still stick with the powervr sgx531 since 6573. as long as the resolution do not exceed 800x480 you'll be fine.

hopefully.
the thing is, from what i saw myself: the BP2's nenamark 2 is around 27~28fps, while the Stealth2's score is 25~26fps. that's only like 54 extra vertical pixels (25,920 total px) makes about 2fps difference. both have the same spec: mt6577 1ghz dual core with powervr sgx531 gpu.

Atom launcher is probably one of the lightest launchers on Playstore.

Hi  Cranky, u know whats the difference between Snapdragon MSM8625 and MSM8225? Both have the same clock speed range. The mercury is using msm8225. Whats the difference in performance in both snapdragons?

the 2nd digit shows the radio type. 86 for US type radio and 82 for rest of the world.
First digit is generation of Qualcomm's ARM, the last 2 are the model numbers.
