Yeah, I agree. Most of the phones there are cheap phones anyway. Huawei G600 and 9tology Stealth 2 aren't there too.

So no hope from the gov ad, some of my fren thought got Samsung or apple is available.

ive bought diz phone.. so far its awesome... finally, i can play The Amazing Spiderman without lag...

a few issues comes to mind tho..

1) how to screenshot?

- i tried almost all combination of buttons, nothing seems to stick.


2) is otg available?

- i dont have the propper tools to test this.


3) is there a way to root this phone??

- i tried superoneclick.. doesnt work..

4) is there a software update tool available? ie SUT LR

so far.. there is no lag... everything is in awesome shape...

Design, from the front, it looks like NExus.. lol

what i like the most is im able tp play Amazing Spiderman, Dragon Slayer, Death Dome, Dead Space, Mass effect with ease..

although, the are some graphic errors when i played The Dark Knihgt Rises.

as for GPS , satellite detection is quite fast.. (PAPAGO)

the speakers are not so great.. but it doesn't matter to me since i used headphones...

Wifi signal is excellent...

battery life, a full charged can last about 2 days (idle).. and it will last about 24 hours if used a lot (gaming, wifi, gps etc)

touch screen, boleh la.. limited to 5 touches

camera.. acceptable...

video recording ... video =boleh la.. audio = not so much

overall..CSL really did an awesome job by releasing this device.. just when i thought the Switch mi 410 was a game changer, than the 501 came a long... for me, CSL has set a benchmark for any other local mobile phone company that wants to developed dual core devices with below rm 1k price range. Im long supporter of local phones i.e imobile CSL m-mobile etc.. so far, nothing beats CSL...




PS: i love it when one of my friend shouted "CSL Dual ko?? Biar betoi!!!??? 5 inch plak tu!!"

Quite expensive for china rebrand phone. It used to be sold at RM600. Now even the waaayyy bigger brand, Huawei sell their Ascend G600 at only RM680 (market price).

I know. And he doesn't even have stock.

For any of U in Penang interested in buying the phone U can go to Carrefour...inside c4 is selling it for 799 but there's 1 shop that quoted me 599 for just the phone n plus 50 for pouch n 16gb mem card

RM599 is quite a good price, I tell you.

If RM650 with the pouch and 16gb mmc , i straight buy it on the spot
