Yes, you could easily get the RM4185 discount..if more than that means the SA commision also he/she give you..

Not sure about the red preve production...you can call i-care to confirm..

Even the CVT Exec dashboard also vibrate if hard acceleration...reluctant to let SC dismantle and assemble back..other problem occurs after that

Do update us after they have dismantle and assemble back the dashboard, need to know how is their workmanship..

My CVT dashboard vibrate during hard acceleration press full pedal/when rpm more than 2k from stop

Slightly vibrate during hill climb and press full pedal...

The funny thing is if I use S Mode and hard accelerate (full pedal from stop) the vibration is not that bad..

I think I read in the forum regarding the vibration issue due to the CVT system. I think bro mat79 explain something on it.

Don't think it is the dashboard problem, but since there is no ECU update for the Executive, just have to bear with the vibration at the moment.

ok, I just reach home ...I test my car again for the vibration at traffic light, stop and go, rev up above 2k rpm, put my left hand on the dashboard....

NO more vibration 

maybe no vibration all the while, and I thought the roaring noise is the vibration.. 

For all those who have vibration, put your hand on the dashboard to feel it 

Only have the engine roaring noise...

depending on your budget..if your budget allows, get the CFE..

The Exec CVT is good for normal family car...if you want more oompph, more power and more features, get the CFE..

yes, the vibration and the engine noise is annoying, if you want to take the risk for them to dismantle the dashboard, please share your experience after they have fix the vibration problem

mine sometimes have. sometimes dun have, but the engine noise is definitely there. engine noise+dashboard vibrating really

For Exec CVT:
TIPS: if you stop at the slope or during traffic jam, at D or S mode, after you release the brake pedal, wait for 1~2sec, the rpm will go a bit higher, after that press the fuel pedal slowly, this will reduce the car jerking. Do not press the fuel pedal once you release the brake pedal, else the rpm will go high and the car won't move until 1~2sec..
Maybe only my car like this, any Preve Exec CVT having this same symptom?

I bet Proton already calculated the amount they need to spend for the 3years vs RM2000 cash rebate, should be almost the same.
Anyway, my preferred choice...TAKE $$$$

Thread seems to move quite slow lately...

Anyone done sound insulation on the Preve using STP products, especially the engine bonnet?? How is the noise improvement?

agreed...I do not know how they did the review saying the NVH is good! After one month of driving the preve, move from stop to start is slow, CVT issue? but can't really feel it happening on Inspira which is also using CVT, not comparing the engine capacity, the Preve need to wait for awhile before pressing the fuel pedal, whereas I don't feel that in Inspira, how come?

Fuel consumption - comparable to my 2.0l car..especially these few days, jam like hell, fuel consumption is above average..(due to its weight maybe) (solution -start work early and wait until no jam then go home )
NVH - i guess all of you already experience the noises, especially from the honda cub and express bus.., ratlling noise, front and rear dashboard(allenultra said it is normal for preve), tyre noise especially at the rear passenger side... (solution - going for STP soundproof if really cannot tahan)
Seat - hard and uncomfortable...(diy - put extra cushion in the car )

Good points - Door close very solid
Car very stable at high speed

Since I am driving the Exec CVT - acceleration is definitely not there drive like an old unker now, slow and steady

maybe he meant during start from stop position or during low speed, slightly jerky..

the gear change is definitely smooth, can't feel any gear change
