QUOTE(bluetly @ Dec 27 2012, 12:02 PM) Feel still ok. A bit sluggish when start moving, but for me not a problem because i am a light foot person. haha . But for the driving experience, especially in highway like Kesas, LDP is great . I can drive 140km/h constantly but the feeling gv me drive in 90km/h only. LOL +1

QUOTE(Mowgly @ Jan 9 2013, 07:17 PM) Can exect owners share some experience on the diff petrol theyve used? Cause if the fc indicator is accurate, my wallet will koyak if i keep fill up petronas. Morning Preveians I'm driving Exec CVT .. my daily routine travel from Cheras <-> PJ , FC around 12.3l/100km, during school holiday was better , around 10l/100km Using Petronas fuel as well...during the 1st 2 weeks of my Preve, the FC was around 15l/100km.. I believe the FC for Preve is higher compare to other 1.6l car if stuck in traffic jam.. a bit disappointing, was expecting lower fuel consumption since it is using CVT .. My previous Waja 1.6l (using 4G18 engine) fuel consumption was much better ..

QUOTE(Mowgly @ Jan 10 2013, 10:21 AM) Oh, thats not too bad. 12.3l/100km. have you ever tried any other fuel? use Shell one or two times, not much different in FC around 12~13l/100km...used once during travel to Melaka, FC was 8.2l/100km after rounding in Melaka town..if from toll to toll, Sg.Besi toll to Ayer Keroh toll, FC was at 7.8l/100km (slight jam at Nilai to Seremban area) This post has been edited by ryuken74: Jan 10 2013, 10:55 AM

QUOTE(Mowgly @ Jan 10 2013, 12:39 PM) My first highway trip on Sunday after purchase on sat, ipoh to kl i got 6.9l/100km. petronas day 3 today, FC seems to improve. now kl -> midvalley -> mont kiara fc 12l/100km. Traffic in okay condition, only short stretch at kl train station got jam. Did you feel any difference in power? I read here somewhere they say petronas give more jerking at low speed Where's the rust specifically? can PM pic? maybe i never check mine properly. Yeah i got the whooing sound also, SA also said normal. Ever tried any other petrol? Not much different in power, but it is jerky at low speed, I thought all Preve Exec CVT is like that...so I don't bother to complain, almost get use to it now... Maybe I should try VPower Ron97.. anyone tried before?? whooing sound is from the CVT, normal. Does the dashboard is vibrates when press the pedal to 2k from standstill position? QUOTE(zaFrOoNaLdO @ Jan 10 2013, 01:42 PM) Good idea or can keep in pocket first, wait till get the car, if more than 60mins, show the secret weapon. I realised Preve's FC is very volatile. highway can be damn good, but city can be complete opposite. Compared to my mom's camry, its more or less the same. cant rmb the correct figure, but roughly speaking, if city is 10l/100km, highway would be 9l/100km or so... (with cruise control). yes, the city drive is like drinking petrol, especially bad traffic jam, one level of the fuel can go around 30km only ..(normally can go for 50km)

QUOTE(engtat @ Jan 10 2013, 12:03 PM) Also Exec CVT, got my car 6 days earlier than you, but CN 24xxx, still rusty exhaust holder and poor radio reception. Rev from 1.5k to 2.0k damn loud "whooing", they said is CVT whine. What to do, showroom no Exec CVT test unit. Back to FC, getting better now, from 13.5l/100km when the time getting new car, now is 11.7l/100km, average 20km/h. Fuel is BHP. did u manage to fix the poor radio reception?
