Yep...

I was at the roadshow for couple of visit which the demo unit was actually a loan unit from Korea - a Wifi/3G unit. Hence, Silver rear in color.

Later, I managed to talk to the Sams@ng trained sales which clarified, that retail unit was a Wifi model which having Black rear in color.

For those not knowing or aware, this will be the "story"

Even if it was, Korean sims not compatible with ours.

No SIRIM approval. Tested working fine with Maxis SIM

finally got my ativ smart pc this morning..been playing it for a few hours..all i can it is superb..for my usage, i find the ativ smart pc is a wonderful product..its light,easy to carry in bag...i am typing this from my ativ..it'll be great for my office work and meeting client

Wow ! Finallly !! Sorry guys i am a bit late since i rarely notice the windows 8 tablet news recently, please forgive me for asking stupid questions.

Firstly, Is the RM2499 Atom powered Windows 8 32bit version ? Which means i can install the app i have in my laptop in it ?

Secondly, what is the battery life of it ? Last up to 10 hours just like iPad ?

BTW, 13 hours on Atom powered tablet is very good !! Some more 32bit version, but i wonder i can install Autocad in it since it is only Intel GMA :s

erm..according to review i checked again yesterday, the battery should last around 8 hours.i think its good

The ATIV is using Z2760, which Intel design specifically to swing it with the ARM chips.
According to this, the power drawn is on par with the rest of ARM chips based tablet.

Running Autocad on ATIV maybe is not such a good idea.
The ATIV Pro, on the other, with i5 ULV and HD4000, could pull it off, but then the battery performance suffer. (But FHD screen )

btw,anybody knows where to get screen protector for ativ?

Tech site Engadget is not very happy with the ATIV Smart PC 500T though...But the version under review is with LTE radio that may drink more battery juice than wifi only versions...any current owners want to comment?

Endgadget is stupid to complain about screen resolution. If they are going to bring up Retina display, then they should mention the Pro version, which they didn't. Idiots.

Ativ is on display in the various Samsung booths, when I asked them are they sure they have stock or not they looked at me funny.
