still thinks the ATIV Smart PC Pro is the best bet for hybrid tablet category. hope samsung will improve on this platform with some extras, e.g. battery inside keyboard dock, less plasticky & GPS. until then i'll stick with my series 7 slate

Looks like Malaysia will get a total of 3 models: XE700T1C-A01MY, XE700T1C-A02MY, XE700T1C-H01MY. Wonder when is the 3G model arriving? GPS maybe?

QUOTE(astria @ Nov 29 2012, 10:39 PM) plastic is good... juz look at Asus Transformer Prime... sometimes i juz feel so furious when trying to connect to outdoor wifi... GPS is basically non-exitent... the only time that i managed to get GPS is when i was in Tasmania, where there's only cow, sheep, grass and sky... or maybe magnesium alloy? carbon fibre?

QUOTE(houguan @ Nov 30 2012, 10:44 AM) Where you get this model info? So far I only see they are having "XE700T1C-A01MY" in Samsung Malaysia website.. (I saw A02MY in their support page though) its from the SW Update software when you do a manual search

QUOTE(oszie @ Dec 5 2012, 02:02 PM) Added on December 5, 2012, 2:46 pmHN f**k up again. During road show they said this ativ pro comes with 3g now when stock arrived, they said wifi only. Really wasting my time. unfortunately if the product code does not contain the XE700T1C- H01MY it will not come with 3G if samsung follows the naming scheme they used previously is cancelling the order and wait for the 3G version from HN an option?

Tech site Engadget is not very happy with the ATIV Smart PC 500T though...But the version under review is with LTE radio that may drink more battery juice than wifi only versions...any current owners want to comment? Samsung ATIV Smart PC review (AT&T LTE)

The only direct competition which is similar in specs would be the recently announced ThinkPad Helix. But ThinkPad = expensive
