What's your mileage?
Mine change the wheel bearing rear right @ 150xxx km. Rear right @ 170xxxkm.
According to Perodua mechanic, both front wheel bearing are bigger and more lasting than the rear bearings.
*
my mileage is oni 90xxxkm. isit too soon? hmm.gif
i've been servicing my car at perodua sc all these while purchase it back at yr2004

kelisa is a good & well performance car. thumbup.gif
i don't see any reason to sell it off unless you have a very big family laugh.gif

please consider the interest rates when purchasing 2nd hand cars!!!

QUOTE(Azuma-kun @ Oct 5 2008, 02:00 PM)
That is normal bro. i forked out around rm1300 for tyres+some check up on engine.
First i thought just want to change engine oil, than rear absorber leaking. Suddenly cannot start and check, the battery dead already.
After further checking, front abs mounting gone. All together rm750 in 3 hours at 1 shop.
After that, went to do alignment since they take out all 4 tyres.
The tyre shop inform my tyres crack, 1 of the tyres is in wrong size, harden and botak.
End up get a silverstone tyre for all four around rm550 plus balancing and alignment. Got some promotion that it's cheap laugh.gif
So 1 day total for RM1300.
My car got alot of barang raya, instead of it's owner whistling.gif
*
by the way, my rear right absorber leak adi. seen oil stain on it but so far not making any sound yet. i'm planning to change the rear aborber (whole set)

about the car batt. in order to avoid 'kong', i change it every 1 year.

to some people who might not know:
wheel balancing = take out your wheel & place onto the machine that rotate. then mechanic will stick leads to balance it.

on wheel = drive your whole car onto a platform, mechanic will fix 4 sensors to your rims (without removing). then laser will shine on to the sensors & provide feedback to the computer telling the mechanic to adjust the tow below of your car.

usually, i did both for RM35

Soo.. wastefull, think of the environment and your pocket... with proper care (even with no-maintenance batt)... a battery should last at least 2 years, 4 to 5 years if your are lucky, before the battery loose the required/needed Amperage to start the car..

yes, you're right...but my experience when i purchased my kelisa back in 2004:

2004 ~ 2005 - original came with the car K.O
2005 ~ 2006 - change to Yuasa
2006 ~ 2007 - change to GP
2007 ~ present - dry batt maintenance free Yoko

all those batt i've changed are maintained very well but at the end also can't tahan to 2 years.
most of the time get stranded because of batt. vmad.gif

sometimes i did suspect that my alternator is not working. but lack of infos how to confirm that. anybody has any clue? hmm.gif

you stop pressing the accel the car wont vibrate isnt that a good thing ?

by the way , sunny , go to battery shop they will have a checker to test if your alternator working or not , check it , else you change the battery every year it will be wasteful

wat da daaaarrrrrrkkkk????

man i hope ur dad didnt change it.....u can get good quality driveshafts out there for less than 200 per piece... somemore with the balance 3.6k can get u a pretty decent ICE already tongue.gif

seriously la...i think the perodua SC is only good for servicing ur car....replacements...go other workshops coz service centres tend to over charge
