the sound proofing u want can check out HERE, i think that feller is in this forum oso under the nick globalvibes...im actually interested to do the windplug and wheel area oso and also to stop the engine sound from coming into the cabin.

im not a believer in gadgets like surbo, cyclone booster etc etc etc... to me mod would be stuff like PnP, cams, exhaust etc etc which is why i never done those stuff before..although im kinda curious about the supercyclone vacuum booster. dont mind spending money on that one since its so cheap laugh.gif

my airfilter im using a wiremesh drop in replacement filter. forgot the brand but the mesh is the same as blitz. much easier to maintain as all it needs is a quick date with an air gun at the workshop and its clean got that for RM200 in sunway. now all i need to do is my CAI.

whoah...like racing cam....biggrin.gif

alot of things could be the cause man... though i guess it might be one of the sensors.... best is to take the car to perodua SC, have them diagnose the ECU or the engine to see whats up with ur car...

so if its not the ECU i still suggest bringing to SC and tell them about ur idle problem...could be something else man..

squeaking might be from a loose screw/nut/bolt.

nope...brake assembly is stock... dont have the same problem u do though

only thing i did was install Bendix Metal king Titanium which i bought for RM88 from one of the sellers in Garage Sales section....

but im planning on the hoses and mebbe bigger brakes if i can find suitable ones...

also ive upgraded my suspension and tires... so that helps alot in the braking too..

EDIT: forgot to mention....also using DOT4 brake fluid...cant remember the brand but i think its bosch.

i was considering the myvi brakes actually... ur right its plug and play.... and is the best and easiest option as there alot of different brands of pads and of diffferent quality and prices which are widely available..also the discs are quite easy to find...

BUT........

i was reading through the myvi forum and it seems theres ALOT of cases of the discs warping. one of the reasons why the myvi brakes are quite easily available. coz people are claiming for warranty... and they sell off the new units and upgrade their discs to something better. the disc warping issue is so common that even the perodua SC knows about it...and just do a minimal check when u complain.

AXT discs also have the same warping issue... and i dont know of any other affordable and reliable aftermarket discs for the myvi. they did mention d-sport or something like that in their forum...but couldnt find any details.

holy crap! not even 5"!!!! laugh.gif laugh.gif

damn. And I've been thinking of getting 7" for the sake of filling the lack of width!  laugh.gif

maybe 6.5" will do.

offset +45. Noted. nod.gif

btw, I think Kelisaclub forum is down again.. and this time for good. sad.gif
*
ur thinking of getting 15"??? both 6.5" and 7" would do fine imho. just that with 6.5 u can choose either 165/50 or 175/50 tires. with 7 its not advisable to use 165/50. problem is... 175/50 theres only the crappy NCT5....theres also the Dunlop but not easy to find. how i wish they made the ST115 in 175/50 sad.gif

and from what ive read around the recommended offset for 15" would be +38 to +42 max...mine is 15*6.5 + 40

and kelisaclub forum is back up....since yesterday rclxm9.gif

my kelisaclub nick - kzijen

This is a great time to own a kelisa. I think we're acceted not as much of the fuel price increase as those ppl driving fuel thirsty cars...

aren't the new disc already solve the issue or disc wrapping. You need to some number on the disc to determine, can't remember..i think it was 17 or something like that
*
from what ive read in the myvi club forums,

yes theyve changed disc supplier and maker. but problem still persists. they theorize its the size of the disc in proportion to the size and weight of the car or something like that... so under braking the discs get more load than its supposed to.

didnt read anything about the number thingy though....

anyway... what id like to know is... does anybody know which workshop can do a disc brake conversion for me??

i wanna put Civic EG discs on all 4 discs (if its possible la)

Seems like caliper problem more than the disc actually. Warping only reappeared for a short while with a new disc + new caliper package. After that no problem  hmm.gif

me no understand the bold part. u mean when brand new the problem occurs, after RMA to a new revised set problem solved??

how to know the set is the revised one?

1130 a pair inclusive of railing and installation. and thats the best price... harga bukak is 1230.

the rails they usually have it in stock. and installation takes about 20 minutes. but if no stock then they can make the rails at no extra charge (aka 1130) and itll take 3 hours according to them

and yeah it does sit SLIGHTLY lower than OEM seats. sometimes i actually think its the same height laugh.gif

actually now SSCUS has these seats that looks alot like the NSI. with very subtle differences. but it only fits into a few cars.. which are only national cars.... that one is cheaper. RM699 a pair. but they take the rails from ur stock seats and fix it into them. bang for buck imho.
