Not recommended to just change the plug seals as it is fused to the rocker cover. Just change the whole cover.

I've just changed my spark plug myself just now and realize there is engine oil in my spark plug chamber, may I know what you did besides changing your cover at the time you encounter this problem? I'm asking because I'm afraid that foreman is going to cut my throat by doing unnecessary stuff when I visit them tmrw.

Besides, I've also encountered serious oil loss without oil leaking out of the engine, may I know is oil loss and oil leak into spark plug chamber related? If it's not, have you encounter such problem?

I change the rocker cover and they put the rubber seal around the rocker cover to prevent oil leak.

Not sure about oil loss and oil leak, best you get second opinion from another foreman just to be sure.

I found minor oil leak from below. Mechanic say might be oil sump or some seals .. hopefully its not a major issue! I never change top cover, mechanic only replace seal even though I ask them about it.

Kelisa 1.0 Auto 2003 now fulltank (till line about 26litre) about 280-310KM max. City drive condition.

Any other similar kelisa still running stock with better/good fuel efficiency?
Looking into minor modifications to improve general performance and FE. Any suggestion which is applicable for this car in 2016?

My 2002, 1.0A red C.L.K. full tank can still push 400kms when driven sedately.
What's your mileage? Mine still less than 200K KMs...
Guess the cheapest way to improve performance and FE is to do overhaul then use better plugs and air filter...

Mine still stock, 220k km. Still thinking want to use engine cleaner or sprays etc or to do overhaul. Because no visible smoke yet. Even overhaul got top and full overhaul right?

But if you don't notice any changes in the car performance or u can live with the performance loss, I guess juz do regular maintenance should be ok...unless got problems like leaking oil or smoky exhaust then have to la...

Mine is close to 200K dy. Whooaaa 400KM? I drive light foot also cant achieve that. whats your cruising speed on average? Mine at 3000RPM around 80kmph i think. Need to re-observe. Never overhauled mine since bought tho

Cruise speed usually doesn't break 100kmph...normally @ 90kmph or 3200rpm...
Mine's more of a weekend car...can't afford to get stuck in traffic as the aircond doesn't cool when the car isn't moving...

Same case happened to me 2yrs ago. Compressor got too weak. After change it all fine again.

Haven't seen a UK Spec kelisa before....except for the one JC destroyed in TG...

Seriously the compressor? Previously was said to be the fan not cooling the engine bay enough?

itss the compressor... same thing happened to my ex-kelisa too.... TWICE!

Your case would be only when u pedal the accelerator the aircond becomes cold isnt it? I went to several workshop and all saying compressor. Sadly after change to new denso, condenser leaked being said cuz new compressor the compression too high T_T.

Thats 2yrs ago punya story. Now still ok after i changed. I usually keep the temp to minimum cuz freezing lol. Just the fan blower adjust

My 4th gear 3000rpm =90km/h
5th gear 3000rpm =110km/h
I too have the weak compressor/hot air when hot weather issue
But two weeks ago just install tinted (first time after 10 years). In my opinion it helps =)
Last year I change my timing belt at my usual mechanic for RM250.

250 only for timing belt? including labour fee? Hmm then 340 kinda expensive then..

I'm not sure about inflation rate though..
If you can live with spending RM340, I will suggest go for it.
At that time the labour fee was about 50, when he fix a gasket leak for me together. So I can't tell exactly how much is it.

I was thinking to buy the timing belt from mudah.com and ask the workshop replace it for me.. at least it's cheaper than 340 I guess since they only charge me labour fee..
