I buy the actual Velcro™ brand from Ace Hardware. Velcro is a trademarked name by,er, Velcro corp.... I think this came from some NASA research group spin off. They have dashboard adhesive Velcro™. So all the other velcro-like mounting fabrics cannot use the Velcro™ name. Haha.

And yes, i am aware of the EFF case,and have never much trusted cloud. Saving some money for a nice cloud-able NAS.

I am using it now on plus highway. I notice the car papago x8.5 very annoying every flyover it will indicate there is a camera but m9 on note 2 does not haha

I report and monitor for speed trap and police on waze and camera aes on papago

Do you or anyone here use the 6inch gps units? How's the size and pocketability compared to N2? Just curious considering Samsung has a 5.8" media player, could be prototype for next Note.......

Btwm waze has aes markers as well. Waze gets updated when u hit the steamroller button, but edit commits seem to allowed only after you've hit a certain ranking.

Not recommended to get the car portable unit too much issues and compatibility. The best set up is get an ipad mini then integrate it will your car systems. This unit cost rm4.8k.

Movie format compatibility only can play xvid, no aux must install extra, stupid inbuild ipad dock with car integration only charge 500mah, when calls comes in ringer tone will too loud so if u sre blasting sound u get a shock of your life, the stupid papago cant be turn off, lots more issues

Even I set up everything using ipad mini max 3k and it's portable and upgradable.

If I am planning to get a protective case (like pocket or pouch type), what do recommend? Wanna get it for my gf.

Reasons: She always drop her Note 2 so...you get the point. Just a wallet type of pouch type that is not over tick

i have been using s2, it is a bad experience to me,: auto restart, batteries drain fast, overheat(51c) , wifi hardware fried duo to overheat? repair it cost me rm600 to change mainboard

I also agree s2 sux like hell. Note 2 not anymore its one of the best.

If me I choose note 2 anytime. Iphone 5 screen too small and ui same since first iphone.

I dislike android but note 2 is the first I can accept alittle lag but not very noticable

Tried my friend Iphone5, sg unit, already got scratch at back, which he said so easy to get.

After using note2, looking at his ip5 screen feels weird (very small!). Battery on note 2 way better than any iphone (being iphone 3g, 3gs, 4 & 4s user myself), I even forgot to charge it sometime.

I used s2 since day one of launch and thus, this is what I feel.

1. Auto restarts
- check your app. Any not legit one?
- Check your kernel and rom as well

2. Battery die fast
- mine last for about 10 hours with moderate to heavy usage.
- control your app and you will be just fine

3. Overheat
- 51c is pretty normal but again, depending on how many apps you are running back ground
- on normal basis, 30-50 is normal

4. Wifi hardware fried
- wow no idea mate...

Note 2 is very good and improved a lot from s2. Of course, you can't compare i5 and GN2 as they are using different OS.

Ask yourself, what is that you want. Don't ever ask us what is better because we might love GN2, but you dont and vice versa. It is your money and thus, play with both phone and choose which suits you best.

There is no a better phone. It is just on self preference.

+1. NO phone is better than the other. A phone is better when it suit your preference.
A very noticeable different on battery life (of course battery cap. increase). on d heat, yes, sgs 2 can get very hot easily on gaming.

overheat, no that i know off. but for some reason on wifi, the exchange will cause the phone to heat up on idle. Not hot but luke warm. My advise, if you do alot of web browsing, Note 2 is better with the big real estate. Choose iphone 5 if you can't leave without apps. Price for one iphone 5 may get you up to 2 note 2. do take note.

Bcos it loads facebook, pikasa, etc. Good idea BUT if ur connection sucks, then gallery takes ages to load.

Even though View by device only, stewpid Samsung software defaults to view all the very next time.
