I only suspect that the rendering process does not match the default JB methods, and even after uninstall it likely still has some stubs that mess with the rendering process.

Reset may be the only way.

Titanium backup?

It's got a BAROMETER man.....we just need some proper apps and a known way of calibrating, then this will be superrrrrr. Perhaps go up some hill with marked elevation by our JUPEM and set the height.

QUOTE(afad @ Nov 9 2012, 11:21 PM)
Last time with S2, i can be consider as an aosp junkie..
I'll flash every update available... Bcos i love the original Android feel and theme. .
I've never touch Samsung rom since aosp were made available. .

But now with N2, Samsung really did great..
i still haven't got the urge to root it yet..
That's how good the stock rom is for me..

I think I'll wait until the Dev at xda kitchen cook something cool first. .
*
My first android was the Note1, before that Symbian all the way. Will not touch fruit with a barge pole. I also did some flashing here and there but AOSP wasn't too useful because it didn't have TW libraries for S-pen, which is what I bought Note for in the first place.
Ultimately I settled for one of Chrack's close-to-stock ROMs which had pretty good performance. Now, I wholeheartedly think Samsung really put in a lot of effort to ensure our N2 JB experience leaves little else to be desired.
I'm now still on Omega v3, don't see anything compelling to make me switch over. Stock (or near stock) is *that* good now.

Thank you Samsung.

PS Please release Exynos and Mali schematics plus the full sources, please?

For another RM100, the Note2 smartdock will do the same with at least 2x the performance....but good to see the concept in action all the same. Thanks for the pic.

Sifu, I understand the sentiment, have read the warnings etc. However, please enlighten me(us), I don't think 0% on the GN2 battery or other contemporary Li-Ions means real 0% but there is a reserve to maintain the min charge necessary to "wake" it up.
At any rate, there are those hobby chargers for 18650s that have a "kick" current to "wake" Li-Ions at complete 0% right?

do u think smartphone smarter or the 2011 laptop battery control smarter?

I will just give you what I've learn from the laptop, depleted the battery till the lappy auto shutdown, after fully recharge back afterward the Li-Ion battery only able to hold 95% of charge no matter how I measure it still totally lost the 5% capacity just after that damn 1st time depletion... so u make ur own judgement...  whistling.gif

Well objective measurement is almost always a good thing, and in this case I believe you. However, how did you make that measurement? I would like to get my hands on such a device as well.

Android has a garbage collector that lives in memory. Task killer kills it, so your garbage is left in memory, making Android do more work (aka using more juice) to clean and restart tasks.

Something like that.

Use "exit" button if available. Or just back, back, back... or use the samsung task manager to see if anything unneeded is running.

I googled through forums regarding installing apps to external SD card, and i stumbled on this...

"Here are two answers I received from Samsung support regarding the use of the external memory card:

1. We understand you would like to know the information on installing the applications to the SD card, If possible.
."
Doesn't seem to be the case since my Bard Tales is installed in my internal memory even after they gave an option to choose SD card ;(

Mine's ok,went to extsd.

Places like Harvey Norman is better in terms of Treat Points. 9000 points for RM 50.
Which All IT is this? The LYP store has the 64GB version out of stock for the longest time.
Yup. Had the same problem today for the first time too. I just updated some basic apps like Google +, Flipboard etc. I'm on stock and trying to keep it lean and installing just basics.
Of course no hissing sound. Hissing sound does not come from the Samsung cable or Samsung phone. It comes from the Samsung charger. Using Iphone charger and Samsung USB cable will not reveal the hissing sound.
2A vs 1A.
Cikgu.  rclxms.gif
Note 1 charger gives out 1A only if I'm not mistaken. Note 2 charger gives out 2A.
Yes, I use it. So does a lot of other people here like Uncle Benny too. If not wrong, since back from the days of Note 1.
