Guys, have a question to ask here, I just got my note 2 this friday and I just wanna know the drop in battery life when you sleep. Mine drop about 5% every night with WIFI off 3G not on and on power-saving mode, is that normal?

Bought a cheap 9 ringgit micro USB cable to substitute the original cable (scared the white cable getting dirty) left the phone charged for the whole night. normally around <3 hours it will charge full. but upon waking up 3 hours later I observe only 40% increase. Swap back to the original cable, the results were much better. Man, is the charger that sensitive to cables?

Could anyone explain to me what's the meaning of rooting a phone? Will it hurt the phone in any ways/void the warranty by samsung if it's a sme set?

Nah. it's rated USB 2.0 high speed cable.
Maybe problem with the awg ratings.
I've actually purchased another original USB cable online, but due to unforeseen circumstances it was delayed. My thoughts of purchasing a cheap USB cable is to perform experimental comparison between the two. As we all know cheap HDMI v1.4 and expensive ones have no relative difference in signal quality. Furthermore I have plans to dissect the cable and fabricate a charging dock / portable power bank. Yeah, you can say why go through the hassle of making when you can just purchase it out from the shelf? well, some of us are a bit adventurous. Same reason why you like to try out custom rom.

Composite, component yes because it's analog signal. HDMI is digital. anyway we're going off topic here.

sigh... games for android so expensive, more than iOS. Stupid game devs, at least make the pricing fair or you'll just lose more customers to ripped off games for free..

i never see H+ in my device for the entire 2 years with DiGi.  Change to Maxis recently - it is so much faster and most of the places in JB is covered by H+.

yes, it does abit loose and u can feel a gentle click when using it on screen

if it loose till the point of dropping out the tips, then u need to exchange already

Yesterday Umobile really screw my mood. After flashing to custom ROM and i can't detect any data. i thought that it could be the ROM or the kernel that i flash which as far as i know that Kernel don't kacau your network.

The hassle that i gone through:

reflash custom ROM
change kernel
wipe cache, dalvik, format data/system
restore to stock

then i called U mobile, waited >15 minutes.
Any outage happen in Johor then he says yes, due to Maxis and U mobile is affected as well.
I was like WTH!!! how come you did't put any notice in your website!

Hey ya peeps! Been following this topic for a couple of versions now (the topic moves really fast) and I may have missed out on the questions I may be asking below... Appreciate any feedback...

1. I just rooted without any ROM flashing (stock ROM) using the toolkit by mskip in XDA forums.... Wise to go for Omega since I wanna stick to stock as much as possible?

2. Titanium Backup or ROM Toolbox Pro? Both seem to have similar function and ROM Toolbox Pro seem to have more....

3. Currently using Apex launcher and whenever the sPen is pulled out, the Page Buddy for sPen does not present itself.... Any ideas to make that pop out like the stock launcher?

Initially i don't suspect U mobile is because my wife is using U mobile and we were having dinner while her phone got H+ and mine non.
I guess you will panic as well if this happen as coincidentally just flashed custom ROM.
