i never see H+ in my device for the entire 2 years with DiGi. Change to Maxis recently - it is so much faster and most of the places in JB is covered by H+.

You pay what you get.

and digi's aint cheap to be honest.

Its abt same experience after upgrade from streamyx to unifi.
But watch ur quota limit.

i wonder if Digi goes LTE, will that H+ magically appear?

Yesterday Umobile really screw my mood. After flashing to custom ROM and i can't detect any data. i thought that it could be the ROM or the kernel that i flash which as far as i know that Kernel don't kacau your network.

The hassle that i gone through:

reflash custom ROM
change kernel
wipe cache, dalvik, format data/system
restore to stock

then i called U mobile, waited >15 minutes.
Any outage happen in Johor then he says yes, due to Maxis and U mobile is affected as well.
I was like WTH!!! how come you did't put any notice in your website!

There's a small amt of free play on the stylus to prevent screen damage when somebody press too hard.

I paid RM 68 for 3 GB data previously and the download speeds average 600-800 kbps only , at times i can hit 1000 kbps
Switch to Maxis internet plan RM 75 for 3.5 GB ( cheaper than Digi) - i can easily get 2000-3000 kbps ( 3 to 5 times faster) and in town easily 7000-8000 kbps ( 9 to 10 times faster ) : it was a world of difference
And all these talk that you get over charge by Maxis is NO longer an issue. Once you hit 80% of your signed data limit you will get a SMS message - ignore it and be prepared for the costly data charges
Best of all Maxis coverage is practically available everywhere even in east coast trunk roads all the way up to Kota Baru unlike Digi

I agree . Which is why I took the maxis citibank package . Only 1049 for phone and rm50 monthly commitment + data is extra of course for 24 months. Cheaper than the maxis one club deal.

That citibank package is really good. WHY YOU COME OUT SO LATE.

hi, may i know is it necessary to flash kernel? can i install custom rom without change kernel? sorry i am new to this.

and some custom rom will flash/upgrade your kernel together when you flash it right?? if using cwm to backup original rom before flash custom rom, it will backup rom+kernel together??

just want to play safe before i flash.

Hey ya peeps! Been following this topic for a couple of versions now (the topic moves really fast) and I may have missed out on the questions I may be asking below... Appreciate any feedback...

1. I just rooted without any ROM flashing (stock ROM) using the toolkit by mskip in XDA forums.... Wise to go for Omega since I wanna stick to stock as much as possible?

2. Titanium Backup or ROM Toolbox Pro? Both seem to have similar function and ROM Toolbox Pro seem to have more....

3. Currently using Apex launcher and whenever the sPen is pulled out, the Page Buddy for sPen does not present itself.... Any ideas to make that pop out like the stock launcher?

Any input is appreciated..... Thanks....

1. i have tried HyperNote and ARHD and i think ARHD is more stock like to me which suits me just ok!

Seriously U Mobile sucks . It is only good in areas of good coverage and infact I'd say is even better than my other Maxis 3G
In other areas of non coverage and need to tumpang on Maxis - it is indeed horrible - the data keeps on disconnecting
Only advantage it is cheap but cannot complain too much since it is so much cheaper. Very good only if you are often in their areas of coverage and not practical if you are always on the move
At my place Batu Pahat, its connectivity is inconsistent - sometimes very good ( up to 3000-4000 kbps) and sometimes cannot even connect at all - very frustrating

Flashing a rom will flash a kernel as well.

CWM backup both rom and kernel.

Use stock Samsung launcher
