Guys, anyone installed the DRL on their 1.6? Previously i heard one member here installed the auto flip up side mirror when the engine off? Will those items void warranty?

short answer is YES. Owner take the risk unless u get the installer to put the relay at the doorboard where its removable anytime.

From where you heard? The 2.0 nearly has everything... what else it needs?

Wanna if u press the push start button once n turn on the ignition (engine not start) anything on the remote will be disable right...eg open trunk

tried edi and remote been disabled....thats why ask to reconfirm NORMAL or not

i believe its normal, i recall trying it when engine start, didnt try when engine was not started (ignition on)..but it should be - i believe its to prevent accidental opening of the boot while driving - dont think the system differentiates between ignition on and engine on....as long as electronics are on it means there are people in the car, and that individual can pull the boot lever instead of using the remote..although it can be a minor inconvenience depending on your situation..but hey..its not perfect.
