Hi all, i went for 2nd service last 2 weeks (fully syn) but can feel the throttle response not as good as before before did my 1st service. current odo 36++. need to press the pedal harder to get more response & can hear unidentified sound (not sure from where, i guess from the engine bay) forte sifus, any idea what is wrong with mine or is it normal. for more info, fuel used either shell or petronas (ron 95). The difference quite significant even my wife can notice "knp enjin mcm berat, tak macam dulu.

whats the oil viscosity used currently and previously?

For 1st service, used mineral oil & 2nd service fully syn. Not sure the grade bcoz my wife took it for the 2nd service

Now I explained why my son's milk bottle is alway warm when my wife put it there... No need to bring warmer around for the time being... Hahahahahahahaha

Maybe its related with type off engine oil u use.
BTW, my fren suggest me to use RON 97 right after service. only use 1 time full tank. It can improve the engine performance right after service. I never try it. maybe will try after my 1k service.

if its related to of engine oil use, meaning mineral oil is better than fully syn? Coz after 1st service using mineral oil, no such issue. fc quite acceptable (9-10l/100km 100% city drive). but now using fully syn, acceleration not so responsive & fc now jump to 11.8l/100km. im expecting better engine performance with fully syn but it is another way around.

I think its more to oil viscosity. not minereal or fully syn...

If it does, just turn off the engine, or brake, or pull hand brake.... anything that within your ability to stop or slow down the car...
KIA is not Hyundai.... though may be same factory
