this is very interesting information but i have some question here that i am interested to know the answer

1. Can u recommend any ciplak shampoo that is PH neutral ? Does it state on the bottle ? What is the price like ?
2. Macquire or Meguiars ? How frequent is the 'Occasionally' u talk about here ? Twice a month ? Only exterior body wash ?
3. How do you perform the 'inspection' by yourself when you washing it ? Any special tool, method of washing and drying ?
4. How does the one year warranty 'works' ? Warranty in term of gloss level or how ?
Don't get me wrong, am not trying to word picking on your but i believe this information will help others to understand how good is SG

My pleasure to share what i know.
1. After coating, avoid washing with those RM10 car wash as you have no idea what shampoo chemical that they are using. Furthermore, especially when your car is white, without your supervision they might just throw on some acidic chemicals on your body work simply.
Just a quick visit to Ace Hardware car care section and just study them shampoo details, some more expensive shampoos like Meguiars will state clearly the PH reading.
Even some cheaper shampoo will state the PH level as well. While some just dont. Currently Im using some slightly cheaper premium car shampoo about RM25 for a small bottle(could be from Triplewax) and its PH neutral. I may not want to go for the more expensive brands like Meguiars or Autoglym simply due to that I like wasting shampoo.

2. Meguiars. I will try to wash my car myself at least once a month just to give it a better attention and care. With external car wash I will just wash them when the stains are very much obvious or after the end of a long raining season.
Ive tried car wash using Meguairs that cost RM16 and RM25, believe me the RM25 washing is way cleaner and attention to detail than a RM16 "cincai" wash and left many dirty spots.
3. My own inspection is not like a pro with proper tools. But i think that the best tool is your own hands and eyes, and definitely not forgetting your own sweat and heart.
When you wash your car yourself, only you will be able to notice those little scratches and even minor tents, and you will be more aware of the condition of your car's bodyworks.
Method of washing seriously depends on the level of each OCD.
For me, I will use 2 buckets = car shampoo and clean water. 1 thick car wash mitt for shampoo wash only from half body above. 1 piece micro fiber washing cloth for half body below washing only. 1 more cloth for drying the car. and finally 1 dry micro fiber cloth for that final shine.....
Micro fiber these days soaks water like magic. Saves the effort
4. Sierra Glow offers a warranty of up to 7 years. The warranty covers the shine and not by abuse and your own mistake of chemical wash off.
