I suggest you talk to your HR dept and find a solution. Else you can complain to EPF dept.

these days lots of companies use CONTRACT so that they wont have to pay EPF. you must be very2 careful. if you work like 1 year without EPF consider you lost a bit lah but if you work more than 2 years without EPF is consider you lost a lot already.

Yes this is true. Nowday many company is using the term 'Contract' as just to avoid to pay the EPF. Currently i'm working at PJ also and the company also did the same thing. If the agreement is stated that you're not entitled for the EPF and SOSCO then you can't do anything to them. Coz is already in the agreement. If that so your salaray should be higher than normal staff. This is why contract staff is higher salary than normal staff. Basically if you're not happy with the job you should fire them.

well i was working for 2 years without epf. actually not as contract staff but working as normal staff. the reason was helping my boss in his newly setup company. he used to be my supervisor and when he opened up his own company i came in and work for him. i consider myself lost lots of $$$ in my epf just because of helping a nice boss. tried nego with him on the epf but he delayed it for 2 years, you knowlah always said company not making money no clients lah this lah that lah. until 1 day i just quit. after that found out from another friend my ex-boss actually went for holiday in japan with his wife for 1 month!

It's possible not to get EPF depending on the terms, so get your clarifications before you start work!

well its up to u , in your contract its said no epf, this is so that the company can save some money from paying your epf.....but were u given a high pay?? because they dont need to pay your epf?? Did u negotiate for something extra so they dont need to pay your epf?? well its a way to "con" staffs lo.......... its calculated that if a company dont pay epf for a staff but in return probably add a few hundred or give stuff like car + phone compensation, it is cheaper for the company, but bad for the staff cause when he reetire , he got lesser epf money. its always better for the company. i guess u can go and negotiate something now....

Yeah those company that don't want to pay EPF always will said business is bad. Sometime we have to think for ourself. EPF is our own money. This is not selfish. Who don't want money.
Even worst is my fren company is they got deduct the salary and in pay slip also stated got pay for the EPF but in account is empty. WTF. How to sue them. This is really bad bad bad.
For me EPF is a must have as a gurantte for you when you retiree.

Is good for your future. Basically by right no matter you are part time or full time also must contribute in EPF.
By the way 10%, i taught the new rule is 11% from your side and 12% from your company.

Damn sad, 10% kene telan and must wait until 55 years old then can only use... 1) Why do you want to get pay 10% less?? For 10% that you pay into EPF. the employer/company has to put in another 10%. If you do not want EPF, you lose 10% of you additional income that the company that do not has to pay into EPF. 2) Who say you must wait until 55 to get the money out?? You can take out 30% of the money to pay for your house. It is a way to get you house down payment. Dreamer
