QUOTE(chopin @ Nov 7 2012, 06:12 PM) lucky you, both are so accurate. did you regulate them (or a watch shop did it for you)? i nvr check both my orient ray and seiko monster for the accuracy.. and seem like both are doing fine.. but i found out that my ray is having longer reserve time than my monster.. ray did last a little longer than monster Added on November 8, 2012, 8:19 amQUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 7 2012, 05:50 PM) my rare mako ray very handsome.. I'm still looking a leather strap for my ray.. do not want to spend more than hundred ringgit for the strap.. seem like i need to have a walk to the shops this weekend.. QUOTE(darrencw @ Nov 8 2012, 10:29 AM) Hi guys, Checking in here, for the first time. Anyone went to BALL's exhibit in Mid Valley? Any good deals? The BALL's exhibit in Mid Valley organized by Watchshoppe, so the deal you can get on the exhibit is the same as the shop. I have been to both the shop and exhibition, and they give the same deal.

QUOTE(Jing-leBelle @ Nov 8 2012, 02:54 PM) Looking at the poison now i wanna get a Mako liao la. hahaha well, if $$$ is not a problem for you, take any swiss big names like omega seamaster or rolex sub, it won't be wrong, they are legends, some of them can even dive to 600m! but for everyday folks like us, orient mako is THE thing, and how often would you dive to below 200M? i think for ppl who have no experience with diver watches, Mako is a very good starting point-afterall, it's only about rm380-480. Mako has also another advantage - its design can make you wear it for diving, and also smart enough as a dress watch. i have read from the net that many overseas (i.e. mat salleh) ppl who have worn rolexes and omegas switch and make orients (and seikos) to be their everyday watch, due to their excellent value, smartness, and accuracy (within +/- 10 seconds per day, something even many swiss can't achieve). i also own 2 Oris. for these past 2 days, mako's accuracy is clearly higher than them.
