respect asus, for keeping nexus 7 price under 1k.lg is a different story,i bet in 2 years time lg will retract its smartphones from the market.

Nexus 7 was never a high end product but this is one!
Just look at Nexus 7 display and you'll know it. It's not a piece of high end display. It's its chipset and that it's Nexus device that make its sales rolling.
Btw, LG is still Top 3 in sales figure for South Korea market. That market alone should keep it from retracting from mobile industry. At least not in South Korea

I guess from the next edition of Nexus we will see that since Google just acquired Motorola. But Motorola, hardly reach countries outside US.
Motorola? Don't you know motorola already pulled itself from most Asia countries? You can't buy a Ori Motorola in Malaysia since few months back. What they're left with is just after sales service maybe for another few years. They'll soon pull out complelely.

'presenting the newest google device the nexus 4,with 2gb ram,s4 pro chipset, and the new and revolutionary "wireless charging" ........the nexus 4 has no limits, prices starting from rm2299.'
on a more serious note,i hope google "advices" lg about the pricing where play store isnt avaliable.i wonder why did asus keep the nexus 7's price under 1k,eventhough they can sell it at 100% profit like lg.
But seriously... If N7 was priced above the current retail price, much less ppl will be buying it.
It lacks a nice display, a back camera(yea... not important but still...) and also suffering from quality issue.

I beg to differ, the Lumia 900 uses plastic and it feels much better in the hands compared to say,a Galaxy S3. It feels very solid and substantial yet isn't that heavy in reality compared to the S3.
Seriously isn't that heavy? It's 185g (IINM) and that means it's heavier than Note/Note 2

May i know any big different nexus 4 with the htc x+ ??
One X+ Quad Core A9, 2.5DMIPS/MHz @ 1.7GHz
Nexus 4 Quad Core Krait, 3.4DMIPS/MHz @ 1.5GHz
You do the maths.

At least Apple can do that.
And that's why their iPhone is so bloody expensive. Still expensive with a plan in Malaysia.

.. i don't think Nexus 4 would attract me much to move from Note 2 ... the feature in samsung is much more power packed compared to Nexus's... well not unless you mod it
But you got to accept all those customization done by Samsung. If you're ok with it.

doesn't really bother me, 2 months difference, android OS doesn't have any major changes unless my hardware is outdated
Then you shouldn't be here.

u made your choice..
obviously u dont need dev phone so go for note 2
case close
100% Agree. Only those who knows what they want will be here looking at the Nexus devices. Other ppl just won't understand how Nexus is superior to those highly advertised phone.

google nexus = cheap price.
no cheap,no market.
that all...
What kind of logic is this? It's only Nexus 7 that is supposed to be cheap to compete with Amazon. Before Nexus 7, the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S both started selling at 2.2k + -. But there're still ppl buying them.
