I just watched the verge review in youtube. That guy accidentally fell his phone on the kitchen table and there you go a hairline scratch there. GOSH. it's quite a down turn for me. not a careful HP users.

If they charge that much, people would rather order from US and pay the extra charges, still cheaper than that premium price. It needs to justify its value, Apple and Samsung can because they have the market and they know their phones can still sell regardless of the price tag.

I just watched and I'm so excited! except for the vulnerability though.

people need to realise that usually you cant have 'build quality' feel and sturdiness in the same phone

Want a premium feeling phone? it will have more GLASS and more vulnerable.

Want a tough phone? It will mostly be plastic materials, or u can buy those obnoxious Otterbox cases to protect.

the thing is the $299 and $349 price is only for the subsidized play store price. one reason Google sells it for so cheap is with the intent to recoup profits by ads and people making purchases through the play store. there are only 7 countries in which the phone can be purchased through the play store. these countries are, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada, UK and US. If your country doesn't have the play store, how is Google to recoup their costs.

if you live outside these 7 countries you will be at the mercy of LG... LG being a multinational corporation exists solely for the purpose of making a profit and pleasing their shareholders, so they will price their products according. One thing for sure LG will not sell the nexus 4 at anything lower than 1500RM

in logically way,i can bet that nexus 4 price won't over the price of galaxy s3.

I beg to differ, the Lumia 900 uses plastic and it feels much better in the hands compared to say,a Galaxy S3. It feels very solid and substantial yet isn't that heavy in reality compared to the S3.

google recoup profit from ad n play store purchase ? u look down at google, they don't bother on google play profit yet, what they care is market share, that is different between giant company and tiny company thought ...

Dude market share means nothing if your profit margins are razor thin, its simple business...your company needs to generate a healthy income and grow. Google sells low to encourage people to buy who in turn will utilize their playstore

none, basically all depending adsense, today mobile ad doesn't bring enough profit yet and adsense is not focus on mobile ad yet ......

People in Malaysia will always want the price to be as close as possible to US pricing. Not saying this is possible & not going to happen. Don't expect the price to be low.

May i know any big different nexus 4 with the htc x+ ??

if thats the case , who bother to buy this phone ? the only competitive advantage is the price ... LG is no popular in anything , be it firmware update or phone itself.... if they price it RM1699-2000 , i might rather go buy S3 at RM1699 or cheaper... at least i know Samsung is popular and firmware update is alright....

they can price it @ higher price , but ppl is smart enuf to use iPhone and Samsung phone as benchmark... HTC is learning the lesson after One series phone and i hope HTC will bcome a history ....

Exactly the same as what I have in mind.

it can never be exceed S3 price ... no way LG compare with Samsung ... this phone , the max. i pay is RM1400...

its juz a LG phone .. ntg more or less...

At least Apple can do that.

.. i don't think Nexus 4 would attract me much to move from Note 2 ... the feature in samsung is much more power packed compared to Nexus's... well not unless you mod it

u cannot compare samsung with LG... noway can compete... spec powerful so what ? customer service bad . firmware update bad...

go compete with nokia pls.

RM1400 today. If by the time it come here S3 is already RM1.5K then I don't think LG going to fly with that price.
