South Development Sdn Bhd (TSSD), is disposing a piece of freehold land in
Subang Jaya for RM37.55m. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, it said
that TSSD had entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Mediaraya Sdn

Lol i think metropark ppl too rich fr BRT leh.. got ktm nearby d. KTM is defo btr than the proposed BRT.. they shldnt build d BRT as it might overlap with the LRT in d long run... More frequent n direct bus routes will serve the ppl btr..

wonder are they able to cope back the revenue they get faster than the amount of adverts, campaign n prmotion that they spend on

I think Subang needed a big enough mall like the one planned at TMP to cater for the populations leisure. Something that can bring the product brand of 1 Utama & Mid Valley type with all the choices of dining available. Empire, Subang Parade does not have the potential to be a big enough competitor when such a big mall come in place.
Success of a shopping mall depends on location, many choices of brands for shopping, many dining choices and a good management of the mall. A Central Park will mostly cater for residents or nearby residence & workers in the same vicinity to enjoy the facilities after work or on weekends. It will not attract outsiders much.
I would think if the shopping mall is properly managed, it will be a good  thing for Subang.
