I have search through 10 pages of search of "call recorder" in play store

i remember i read in previous thread, flip case with magnet can harm the device. i have kelaideng casing with a magnet.. been using for few days, so far still ok.. but due to get sked, i don't want to use it anymore.. now my note is naked.

but, really, magnet will cause damage to the touch screen? i mean, how persistence? every case with magnet will cause it? or it depends on how strong is the magnet, and the magnet location...? (i should google this anyway. lol).. just... super curious...

on another thought, white note seems nice la.. who want to exchange with me?

yeah.. white note feels nice.all my ipad/iphone also whitee.. im using grey btw..... previouly using note 1 white but the chrome area easy to be scratch...... haha... so still better with grey colour...

this is really a big headache. imagine ppl cannot you only to found out that the note2 switched off accidentally.

Any idea how to check our phone is ap set or sme set? Sm of the forumers said tat the middle no of imei which is 05 is refering to sme set?

check your box , at top right corner E-warranty sticker . and open back cover , you can see samsung warranty sticker at screw point and battery . Mine is AP set and middle no of imei 05

I dont think IMEI number is special for SmE or AP set. Best way is to check with SME itself using your IMEI.

But few hints u can apply:

-On the box should have blue samsung sticker that u need to tear to open the box.
-samsung sticker on screws inside the phone
-warranty card
-receive sms from SME about warranty registration

Magnet if big enough can damage touch screen if you drop it on the phone

But seriously, those magnets used for cases are very weak and I doubt they can actually damage touch screen, a CRT screen maybe or a spinning HD like iPod but not smartphone with flash memory..Otherwise there will be no Apple smart covers. the only possible damage or interference is on the Wacom layer and stylus. Maybe get a case with velcro or something to be safe?

its 12hrs and my battery level still at 94%. of coz with 3g and data switched on 24/7. Looking back my iphone 4s...so weak the battery. Really pawn it kaw kaw...haha

you can open in front of them or just open at home . better open first and check your set . if you find any faulty you can change

this is roughly what is inside the note 2. the strips of wires inside are what enables your s-pen to function the way it is. magnet has an effect on flow of electricity and that will impact the sensitivity depending on how strong the magnet and proximity and current level. place a magnet source long enough next to it and it can magnetise the strips of wires thus damaging the functionality of the s-pen.

Just check using sms of your imei. if it ain't registered or can't register, you got an AP set. you should also able to see the SME sticker at the back of the phone and the sirim sticker as well. failing any of that, you got an AP set

But most forum says NO, this is 21st century yo!

I think its quite important to clarify this issue. Because magnetic case are everywhere. And I just bought a flip case with magnet as well for my wifey iphone. Quite worried.

Always better to check on the spot. Samsung QC is not known to be very good and customer service is lacking.
If u bring home a defect side, u risk to have ur brand new phone hospitalized.

Unlike HTC, no exchange the moment u step out.
