QUOTE(KuLi @ Oct 28 2012, 05:00 PM) depends. if u r a geek then by all means, go ahead. also, if u are a student with lots of time on ur hands, it may be a good time killer. agree and i am blur with rooting android phones so might not be trying it for the rest of us, the tabhone is working quite fine. minimal increments in smoothness doesn't justify wasting time on it. |

i noticed that alot of uninstalled apps still have files left behind, does installing this help?
SD Maid - SD Maid frees up space on your phone’s SD card by cleansing it of "corpses in the basement," or unnecessary data left behind by apps no longer installed on your mini. It works with all roms currently on the forums. Use it and know the difference. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Oct 28 2012, 07:06 PM) Don't understand your statement Got it! But I think i'd just leave everything "normal" for now and in the event of changing the Mem Card, I'd just delete the swap/init.d file as you mentioned sometime back. Any stuffs on previous internal memory you need to remap your apps pointing to it Or just copy all your internal sd stuffs to external sdcard. This is easiest n best solution. You can than safely delete your previous internal sdcard I was saying that as the SD Maid doesn't seem to "check" the external SD Card for Corpses. Only the internal (which is now my external) |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Oct 29 2012, 09:31 AM) sd maid only for internal memory. If you have used external sdcard as internal memory it will still work without any problems hmm.. i've tried running the app a few times and it seems to not clear some uninstalled program's folders... i'll run it again later after rebooting.. anyways, i'm hooked on Zenonia 4!!! the screen's real estate is a pleasure to play on!!! a far cry from the "cramped" screen of the ol' iphone4 |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Oct 29 2012, 09:41 AM) Amazing! I wonder if its safe to just trust the system to clean the phone by itself or are there things or directories that I shouldn't touch haha... last time i screwed up my iphone using the icleaner app thingy... i installed the free version of titanium.. looks so complicated =.= Added on October 29, 2012, 10:45 am QUOTE(chanhin @ Oct 29 2012, 10:39 AM) Where got note II driver? QUOTE(chanhin @ Oct 29 2012, 10:51 AM) Ok... Will try it tonite... Once you have Kies, its possible (as you have no driver now, its not possible to view the files in the phone & SD Card)Btw, is there any easy way just to treat the phone as a pendrive when connected to computer? My HTC and Sony Ericsson phone all behave like these... very easy... Samsung is designed for human, so should be easier right? have a try |
