28/09, I applied with Sheikh.
05/10, he updated me that my application is in activation process.
08/10, he asked me if Maxis already called me or not. I told him I won't be able to pickup any phone call as I'm working 6AM-6PM day shift. I seriously cannot pickup any phone call even I wanted to. He promised me to give me the person handling my application's number.
15/10, he said he done something so there might no need for the call.
17/10, I asked what's the status of my application. He answered, under activation process. He told me he's not sure why it takes so long, he'll investigate.
18/10, he insisted that Maxis called. Asked me to check my log. I asked for the person handling my application's number. He cannot give, not until tomorrow at 10.30PM fastest.
19/10, I asked for a copy of my application. I wanted to see Maxis' stamp or whatever on my application. He said cannot. All deleted for security reason.
20/10, he gave the person handling my registration's number. See 08/10 above.
22/10, he updated when I asked. Under activation process. I asked for a full refund. He said cannot already at the 'last activation stage'.
23/10, Maxis called. OMGG! And I received a tracking no. from the person handling my registration.
24/10, I received my sim.
25/10, and finally it is activated.

And here's the kicker. I asked the Maxis person who called me on 24/10, when Sheikh submitted my application. She said, only last week which is sometime on 15-19/10. Wow!
On 08/10 he already 'planted' the idea that Maxis already called me. He 'planted' the idea I'm the one not picking up. On 18/10 he's 'shifting' the blame to me. And on 24/10 he said I'm a person with bad behavior.
That's my experience with Sheikh, so far.
My second point is, can you see how fast things move after my application changed hand? Maxis called 23/10 and two days after that I can use my sim. All after Sheikh submitted my application.
Do you catch my next point?
i know, suppose once maxis receive customer's money they will process it immediately. if the case that on 8th oct send in application i should be having my sim on 9th and activation should be around 15th latest. except as what tash claim, maxis staffs are LAZY. now he's telling me that he not able to reply me due to he is busy settling my application

I really hate to do this, but i feel like i have to. I am not one who jumps the guns when faced with a problem. However, with what has been going on i feel i have the right to be agrieved.
On the 20th of September i banked in RM600 for 2 sims. Only around 2 weeks ago i received 1 of the sim card. It is now 30th of October and i have yet to receive my 2nd sim.
For the first sim he told me to get the sim replacement from maxis center by just showing my IC.
Went there and maxis wont even entertain me without any proper details. Just for the sellers knowledge, i had to take a day off , drive 1+ hour + tol + fuel to get to the center only to have Maxis tell me i need details on the sim card. A few sms'es and a couple of phone call later, seller said he have the card with him and didnt mail it to me. He asked me for my address and i give it to him. Few days later i received the sim and its already activated. Everything seems fine and i was one happy customer.
But then, till now i've yet to receive the 2nd sim. he even told me to get the sim replacement again and i agreed to it. But this time i refused to go until he provide me with the details of the sim. Till today i've not received any details over the sim card. He blamed it on the holidays and maxis not answering his queries.
I am fed up with all the waiting now. HOW is it that maxis can be so slow? is it really maxis or is it him? I dont know but im starting to feel like its him.
I am not here to say seller is a scammer, or not trustworthy but he needs to improve the way he handles his customers. We are talking a lot of money here ( for me atleast im no rich guy).
I hope TS gets his SHIT together and buck up as i am sick of excuses.
someone really needs to teach him some lesson so that he will only learn. im starting to lose my patience. am needing internet desperately so that i can finish my works in my room but looks like i need to wait for like nearing a month and still i dont see any "light" that my sim would be active in anytime soon
wow, rm600 is my allowance for whole month man, guess u can guess what my job is.
