Is it possible to stream video, music etc directed from otg- mounted drives?

wow, v3, so nexus 7 consider smooth? or will lag sometimes?

So far I find it very smooth. Occasionally it'll lag once you get out of heavy 3D game like Modern Combat 3, but other than that I find it really lagless. I'm really impressed how fast it loads up 3D intensive game.

I'm more into retro gaming however, so I emulate using GBA.EMU, GBCoid, N64oid, fpse, etc etc



If mkv and rmvb is able to stream, I'm guessing avi and the usual formats are able as well right? How did you stream through wifi? A Samba server?

i bought mine on ebay and LYN, ebay cost me RM3.xx LYN RM5
but only the ebay's OTG is working, LYN's cable is not stable.

Conclusion, buy a few more.
IMO expensive 1's not = 100% working.

i use ES Explorer, just share your folder on your PC and use LAN connection
on ES.

BTW, samba is for linux.

update: Can't connect to my shared media folder on my Vista desktop since it and the WIFI is on different vlan. I guess I'll try it later at home.
