stop comparing N7's US price

UK selling the 16GB (or the coming 32GB) at 199GBP, do the math, not much difference with ours.

as for the ipad mini, it's just a smaller ipad2 with upgraded camera

Chances are that the mini will be priced from RM999 if we use the conversion rate for iPad 2 and 3 sold in Malaysia. Apparently there is tax on the iPod and this explains why iPods sold in Malaysia are higher than elsewhere.

what about their new ipod touch? that's rm1050 nia no need to sell ady everyone buy ipad mini

Added on October 24, 2012, 11:28 amspeaking of 32GB will be selling at 16GB's current price, and us who already bought the 16GB @ 900++ b****in how asus trying to rip us off, i think that's not as bad as those who just bought ipad 3 biggrin.gif

twice the performance, twice the graphics capability, for same price with ipad3, and just announced in less than a year.

thinking of ipad3 owners make me feel less bad if they really announce the 32GB N7 selling @ 999.

I found that I have to press hard to get the headset into the n7...is that normal?
what kind of headset u guys using for n7?
3 ring or 2 ring without mic?
*
both also use, 3 ring and 2 ring, both Sony's.
it's not hard. IMO it was some kind of locking mechanism so that your earphone/headphone won't accidentally snap off that easy. my desktop front panel earphone plug have the same mechanism too, still that hard since 2008.

3 ring cannot work on my device. Keep breaking up. Weird. I am using the 2 ring type. Works perfectly.
*
there are 2 type of 3 ring actually, which was yours?
QUOTE
2 different forms are frequently found, both of which place left audio on the tip and right audio on the first ring (mirroring the configuration found on stereo connectors). Where they differ is in the placement of the microphone and return contacts. The first, which places the return signal on the second ring and the microphone on the sleeve, is used by Apple's iPhone line, HTC devices, latest Samsung's, Nokia and Sony phones, among others. The second, which reverses these contacts, is used by other Samsung smartphones and some Sony Ericsson phones.

non-rooted user may use Nexus Media Importer ($2.99)

rooted user easier, just get StickMount (free)
*
i use both

for media streaming prefer NMI, because stickmount chinese character appear like - ????????

media transfer (back and forth USB - N7) use stickmount.

nexus 7 32 gb  wifi  $ 249  1k ++                    16 gb =rm 999
nexus 7 32 gb  3g  $  299    1.2k++                    normaly add 3g need rm 200 something
nexus 4 wow quadcore. if sell 1.3k rugi lah... that dual core phone that sell this range sure no sales ... sure markup some prices to 1.4-1.5 k some thing

nexus 10 ... maybe in range 1.5k-1.7k some thing
markup

and again, if u compare with US price of course feel cheated. they in the US google already subsidize for the US residents.
open your mind. the UK price for 32gb is same with 16gb previously, 199GBP.
if u convert that to MYR, it'll be around 960++, so 999 do make sense.
w/o google's content here besides app (movie, music, etc), google also cannot subsidize for us.
even for app purchase i believe most malaysian don't want to fork out the money to buy legally from the play store.

Anyone else experiencing any of the problems listed here since they updated to 4.2?
http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/11/19/an...newest-release/

For me, it's the Bluetooth streaming speed.
*
the auto brightness really annoying, it works but the reaction really is slow (compared with my xperia sola). sometimes suddenly become bright and dim again.

bluetooth: never use it tongue.gif

random reboot: only once so far after update to 4.2. another time is it completely turn off. press 10 sec then it'll start again. battery still got +-70% left. so total twice i suppose

extreme battery drain: not 'extreme' lar but still, the battery life is not as good as 4.1.2. no problem with charging though

missing december doh.gif
