btw, first time using my N7 to watch movie, Resident Evil damnation. The volume seem abit low however i max out. Is that normal ka?

Ya its normal.The volume of n7 is abit low.

Yes N7 audio quality is bad. Infact all the Nexus's I have used to date their audio quality is bad. At least the N7 is better than Galaxy Nexus, the worst of the lot vs other Androids such as Samsung and HTC. You can boost it slightly better with DSP Manager

one reason is that the speaker is at the back.
very often i use my right hand to "cupped" the speaker, it becomes much louder.

speaker should be placed at the sides or the front,
duno why manufacturers like to put it at the back, so dumb.

I see, I think I'll wait they bring in stock as I just want to try out the device and most probably end up buying from Newegg.

Same method used for my phone (S2), really trouble, Nexus 10 speakers are at the front which is very useful.

My nexus 7 died:( 2 days of minimal use and this morning it couldnt turn on anymore:( Heartbreak maximum

Try leaving it for charge for couple hours then hold power for 10secs. If no reaction try power + volume down, for another 10secs. If no reaction gg

Not at the moment. The Nexus 7 doesn't support MHL or HDMI out. As of now... maybe something might happen in the future, we don't know, but for now, no.

It happens. Especially when Nexus 7 didnt get a correct read on your battery stats. To improve its accuracy, charge full everytime then let it go down to 20% or so. It'll improve after a couple runs. This usually happens to new n7 that haven't been charge overnight

note: There's nothing wrong with the battery or your Nexus. It happens to most Lithium Ion based devices, even my Android phone sometimes misbehave that way

i figure out that, the only chance i can heard the sound slightly better is when i hold the N7 with my right hand, in a C curve shape.

Continously doing tat for more than half an hour TOL = MY right hand so sour...

Just plug an ear phone. It's better for movies.
No external speaker cn match the earphones anyways.

herm.. never tot of tat. will try it with logitech earbump
