, i tell the recruiting manager...i never encounter a female boss before..i have been worked in Sapura Crest before as a trainee Geophysicist, but my boss is a man...well, i think there is nth much diff between a female boss n male boss..i still do my work as usual...then she start asking me bout my experience in SapuraCrest....thn i said bla bla bla 
thn she said...YES, MR LING UR 5 MIN IS OVER...you can check your result at 5pm (i interviewed at 2pm ---> its fast)i say thank you...
you know wat, my num that day is 14 which mean "must die" in cantonese..i thought its a bad omen but stimes dont be too superstitious
yea, i still rmb the 1st interview the recruiting manager stared at me like wanna swallow me into her stomach..but i keep cool alto im scary inside...so next time if u being interview by her just keep cool..just my 2 cents
well, 2nd interview (the next day which is my bday _/3/08) which is an interview they called it group activity...its very fun..u will be divided into groups..n will be given an assessment..complete it in a required time with limited resources..my advice is act fast n try to divide the job among ur group members..rmb some1 must be the time keeper..wat kind of assessment i cant tell you..
wat i can tell you here is winner got prize which is a pen drive for each of the group member...there are 3 person that day who assess us --- walking around holding a board and a pen...(made me tension)....my group cant achieve the requirements..but still u should stand to ur point...but make sure its reasonable and realistic....
3rd day which is my 3rd interview and also christine bday
hehehe..she is younger than me one day....this interview consists of 3 interviewer for our day whcih consist of the recruiting manager (lady) and 2 Western Geco Guy...well, i go in..sit down...n they start the interview by asking me to introduce myself...i say bla bla bla...whn i come to say my parents both are hair dresser..n suddenly she stop me...HOW DO YOU THINK BOUT MY HAIR??? (erhhhhhh...how come she ask me this kind of questions which is nt related 
)well, i said mmmm..ur hair is a bit dry and you need TREATMENT and a CLEANSING TREATMENT B4 APPLY NUTRITION TREATMENT...then those guys start laugh at her... 
thn she ask me what is my hobby??i said i like backpack,swimming,outdoor activities, playing guitar...STOP!!!she said....OK LING...I FEELS LIKE WANNA SING NOW..CAN YOU BRING YOUR GUITAR HERE N I SING???I WANT IT NOW!!!!!(i say to myself crazy man 
)i blurred for a while and continue back....erm, sorry maam, this is an interview now..i dont think its appropriate to bring guitar here and sing...how bout next time if i joined Schlumberger, i bring it there n let you sing???(Luckily i can turn it back )thn she ask me wat i have done in my Industrial Training..I said bla bla bla....she asked me what have i done in UNI besides study..i say i joined USM Lifeguard Corps +++ bla bla bla..OK, LING..CAN U TELL ME MORE BOUT USM LG??thn i said bla bla bla again....n she ask me what kind of challenges i met so far..i give an example where I faced a big challenge in my Lifesaving Class as Instructor where i teach 4 levels of lifesaving...students come from non swimmer background...have to trained them...motivate them..nt physically but mentally as well.......bla bla bla..ok this Guy (chinese) from western Geco he ask me...LING..INSIDE HERESTATED UR BLACK BELT 2ND DAN...IS IT THE HIGHEST???i say nope..the highest is can reach up to 9th dan which is my master..thn this recruiting manager again provoke me with her questions...she asked me..IS IT MEANS THAT U CAN CHOP A BRICK??..i say yes maam, i need to chop 2 bricks without support to pass my 2nd DAN...she yelled!!!WOW!!!!LING, I WANNA C U DO CHOPPING...CHOP THE TABLE NOW..FAST!!!!CHOP THE TABLE NO!!!!!!(walao!!!i really bengang with her la)...but still, i keep cool and blurred for a minutes..dunno wat to ans...thn continue back....errrr..sorry maam, i cant perform it now as i dint go for training for long time and Im not goin to vandalise USM property too...(FUiiiiiiiiiiiiiii...

Final interview on 31 of March (kinda fast)....drive all the way to kl...go to rohas perkasa...wait the Asia pacific Manager to come..thn she (did i mention SHE again???
really a lot of lady manager...hehe )she show us a video on land operation..how land operation crew do theier job etc....n she ask..ladies...do u think that u can fit in into the environment where it is a male dominant world????yea..there are 3 gals who go to interview that day with me...im the only guy...seems lik Schlumberger like to hire lady....all the ladies keep smiling...thn this lady manager ask me what do u think??wats ur feedback from the video??i say..mm..it ok..far more better than wat im thinking (actually i tell lies...the work it tough... )thn wait my turn to be interviewed....ask the questions similar to wat they ask in 3rd interview...but more on ur future prospect matter....last bout 20 mins..finish...drive back to penang again...home sweet home...

haha... i think setting the target will be a very important thing to do instead of randomly pick several companies for interview during the career fair. But i think apply for every company through internet first, few months prior to the career fair. Only if the companies you've targeted do not give any respond or reject your application before even giving you any chances for interview, go and look for them during career fair.. let them see that you're capable with their own eyes 
hahaha.....christine..i think u better take this offer..just now i saw in other forum bout exxonmobil....they give rm2800 as basic plus 2 month bonus only....if compared to SLB is the double paid....haha..congrates christine.....bout the OFS-1..wat's that???i think zeusu know bout that...PM him la...im anticipated to know that..and where will ur OFS-1 held????n how long is it??
