for those who are seeking jobs there, u can try asking for vacancies available in every booth.

I'm going again tomorrow. After lunch.
I don't see many booths offering jobs, at least based on those companies I approached.

Any idea about the number of vacancy available through out the whole event, roughly estimation. Don't want to waste my time go there if only 1 or 2 booth got vacancy. Thanks

Just some recruiting agents, most of them just come here to show their technologies to attract local clients to use their product?

Just wait for the next OGA.

This offshore exhibition more to deepwater, some even ultra deepwater technologies.
It will be a problem for those without basic deepwater knowledge.

Met a company representative, their requirement for fresh grad is so high.
They looking for someone 4.0 cgpa, or anyone with CGPA near 4.

I am taking Mechanical Engineering and will be graduate soon. I'm very interested in oil & gas industry and energy related field, both renewable and non-renewable. May I know which company should I look into to apply for job? And which company willing to take fresh grad like me?

One thing I want to comment in the first page, shouldn't we add in oil n gas consultant firm there as well?
Even though their starting pay isn't something to be shout about.
