Just finished feeding Aragorn 13 crickets. Fly, Frankenstein & Ornate have their own dish.

The 5 angels couldnt stop eating, i'm afraid they'll get bloated like the black-skirt tetras (2 of them died belly-bloated, the other 2 goes to predator tank).

By experience i guess. Aragorn eats about 9-15 crickets a day, alternatively with SW and occasional wild catches. Feeder fishes always around. Sometimes he doesnt wana eat at all, so i feed him the other day. Its normal for adult aro, with constant foods around somemore. I know some lfs only feed their adult aro once every 3 or 4 days only. And they doing just fine.

The bichirs feed on Hikari massivore delite, and small fishes.

Angels are very fun to keep, i feed them thrice or twice a day. But they keep on asking anxiously if anyone approaches their tank. Must be fun to hv a school lot of angels.. but my mini tank is too small la..

Wah, all giant sized fish there bro. U'll need a bigger tank very soon. Wonder how the feeding time fiesta like, must be very meriah kan?

Aku pun minat gak pleco2 yg rare.. L24 ke. Anyone ada experience dgn rare plecos?

Yesterday baru balik from outstation cum holiday with family. 4 days off home, risau gak any of my aquatic pets died, or at least, in bad condition. I stocked many small fishes for the aro and 2 bichirs, together with holiday blocks for the feeders.

I moved the 5 angels into 3x2 tank in backyard, WITHOUT aeration or filtration (pic). I stocked 3 holiday blocks with plenty of jentik2 in there (the tank being empty for a week or so). So they shoulve plenty to eat, but i was worried about water condition.



Sampai umah, thank God everything was fine. The angels even remain fat as they were before. Moved them back to their tank

Yep aku pun quite amazed, 4 days in bare tank without aeration or filtration. Dulu aku penah letak aro & angels dlm 1 tank. Tiap2 mlm selamba je off filter n all.

*Xde le nak vacation oversea.. cuti2 malaysia je itu pun sambil keja. Huhu.

Haha.. its not verbal talking.. just heart-whispering, if u know what i mean. Some ppl in ancient time believe that this fish can actually communicate with his owner, in a way. There are stories about that claim, even to these modern days.

Im not telling that i believe them, but what's more important is, when u believe in something, it becomes YOUR TRUTH, regardless of how 'external truth' actually is.

Let alone the fact that absolute truth is actually unknown to anyone. Hehe.. maybe yes i need to sleep.

Same with me bro.. Ada sekor yellow-tail aro saiz dlm 16", dah lama aku tengok kat lfs tu diorang letak dlm akuarium kecik je. Badan dah jadi hunch-back tp masih survive sampai hr ni. Very sad la.. kalo ikutkan nak je beli tapi aku dah xde tank & masa utk jaga another aro.

Ko dtg kb sini la. Aku nk bagi Franky skali. Lately ada aggression issue la between dia & aro. Syg benor nak letgo tp dah selalu sgt huge splash sampai basah lantai umah
