Today i fed Napolean Bonaparte Aragorn with 2 bullfrogs, 5 crickets, a hopper and a spider (so i slaughtered mr. spiderman again!)

I wont kill anything for fun, but i would kill spiders and centipedes anyway as they may harm my family. And they become food to my pets as well, so the killing is well justified.. kan?

I really hate spiders before.. even cant stand looking at them crawling. Now ive pretty much overcome that fear.. if not entirely that is.. haha

Thinking of adding 3 tiger oscars to my tank. How do u think, will it cause problem with aro and the 2 bichirs?

How lah, u so far away. In Ipoh/Kampar rite? Got sister in-law teaching there in UTAR, but dont think she will be of any help.

Buy junior oscars also can, considering i still hv lots of space now

BTW bichir takers are still welcome. But have to be a monsterkeeper with ample space and sufficient experience. And also must be able to self pick-up, strictly.

I hope we have many choices of cichlids here also bro. But u know i'm stuck with limited choice. Youtubing around, got ppl comming oscars with arowana, and even pacu

Making semak samun cause wanna try putting bettas in. Hopefully would turn out to be ok.

Me too i hate spiders before, even now quite as well. But as i told before, i tried to overcome the fear for something good, or as some people said, for a greater course. And it is often most rewarding. Later on i get used to it. I also kill the spider first, but not with insecticides. Just whacked it with broom or anything, then throw it to the tank rightaway.

I hate to admit this, but i got too much poisoned by u guys, until finally i bagged home a junior oscar, small tiger oscar only about 4/5". The lfs owner said it might get eaten by my Aro or Bichir, but i'm buying it anyway. At RM7, nothing to worry about

I'm a bit worried that he will really get eaten by Franky, as he seems to reside in Franky's territory, behind the driftwood. It is also clearly noticeable that he's afraid of Aragorn. Tomorrow will see how he copes with new home.

I bought 4 female bettas as well, and added to angel's tank. Pic:



So far everything looks good. They had a minor fight but later settled down hiding in their own spots in the semak samun. Will observe until they completely setted down, and maybe can try adding a male betta to complete 'Rumahku Syurgaku' theme

Oh, so both of you and Luqee have tanks in bedroom. U sure have frequent 'wet activities' in ur bedrooms (doing water change lah)

Dont worry everything is fine and under control. I will keep the predators full all the time, hopefully he will survive la. For now he's still hiding in Franky's den. Maybe i should get another one to give him company. And another big driftwood as well to provide more hiding space and security.

Concurrently in angels tank, all residents are good as well. Still got minor territorrial actions but still under control as everyone has their own private spots.

My tank only 5x2x2'. Angel tank only 2x1.5'. Oscar has already come out from his hiding place, but still not very secured and stable, as u can see in the pic. I have yet to find nice driftwood to add, ada barang baik nak share x?

All four bettas are fine. Some minor fights but they're doing good anyways.

In the main tank, Oscar has already getting fully stable, swimming across the tank at will, eating very much indeed! Mealworms, dried shrimps and pellets! I'm afraid he'll die bloated

Common wild frog that has become part of Aragorns's meal last nite. Sized around 5cents coin, i think Oscar would have eaten it if Aragorn wasnt so fast.

Is it ok to feed them this kind of frog?

Maybe u should just give the driftwood to me

1. Personally i like white angels with stripes on their body. The yellow and red colour adds to their beauty. Feels like wana hunt for some more beautiful angels, by my angel's tank is already cramped
2. The spray bar must make quite a noise, rite? If ur tank is outdoor, then maybe its ok. Would like to make huge waves and splashes too, but both of my tank are indoor, so i prefer quiet setup. Nice DIY idea anyways.
3. Combo of driftwoods and plants on them makes beautiful effect
4. Where did u get the white substrates? Been hunting for the kind for quite some time, cuz my turtle tank needs more sands to complete the bedding course. (As in below pic). I know he likes to play with sands very much.




I think that piece of stone not suitable for aquarium or ponds, as it may be some sort of batu kapur or something. It emits whitish dust if being rubbed, even in the water. So i better not taking any risk, now just put it beside turtle's tank as decor item. But its ok as i love beautiful stones and natural woods.
