Odd length of spacebar? Which board you mentioning about?

Plum having pretty standard dimension for keycaps(except the 0 and 00 may be).

Though, one thing to be noted is that it using a spacing similar to Keycool(probably, will confirm again once I am free to take out my keycool spacebar to do a comparison).

Add backlit to those without specially prepared circuit or holes for LED are pain as HELL. Only few ppl are willing to go through all those hassle and risk. If you are still interested, try ask Bai101(a member here) on his experience to mod his non-BL keyboard and add LED.

The PLUM I recommended afternoon just now is different though. It already had predrilled holes for LED and even the wiring circuit for it. What lacks are just insert your own LED.
*
oh, i cant remember which one already, i think someone here posted about it, it is also a 96key board.... the layout similar to the plum. So you saying that the Plum96 keys are all standard, just without the arrow and home area keys?

they are not specialized in mech kbs, so rather find a pro mkb brand than some mix up f@gs

if i like bottom out the keys frequently would it get damaged?

and are cherry red's really that sensitive? I've read a lot about people complaining that they're too easy to push down

normal bottom up will do no harm. But smashing on it may be.

Actually, black is more sensitive. It rebound faster due to stronger spring and also it actuate earlier(less than 2mm) than other switch.

Oh, because i've read a lot of websites they all say that the Red's are really really light to the point its not nice for gaming and typing.

I've never used a mechanical keyboard before so would it be easy to get used to?

Errors or typos are expected when first shift to it. After few weeks, you will get use to it and like it over rubber domes.

Btw, the sensitive you say just now is about easy to press? Then red is. To be safe better try it your own n4 you made the purchase. Different ppl having different preference of stiffness.

im the red owner, at first im kinda regret at choosing red, made too much of typo and the key will even registered on your PC just when i swing my finger..
but after few months of using it, i fell great with this red switch, because it's so light that i not need to make too much of pressure on it. now i can spam even faster than before.

i will recommend red for gaming and blue for typing. smile.gif

To be safe better get the Mx-brown instead. Its an all rounder good for both typing and gaming. Its has the same weight force as the mx-red which is +/- 45g plus mx-brown will give u tactile feedback which can be good for double tapping or rapid tapping haha...

black, brown and red is suitable for gaming, i suggest red becoz it's very light, your finger won't easy to get tired since you only apply a minimum of each key to register. this can be the pro, but to some people this is con to them.

whatever switch you choose, you need times to used to it. perhaps red and black will take a little longer than brown and blue becoz the "unusual" pressure we made. brown is another good choice for gaming + typing.

u can do a lot of researches and ask a lot of feedback, but the information is useless till the day you experience. do some research, then go to the shop and try it out urself, go experience the different between these switches. and you will find urself the best switch for urself

Right now i'm kinda stuck between Razer black widow stealth ultimate and the K90. Reason is because theyre both exactly where my budget stands, I would like to get a Ducky shine 2 but since its a present its not nice to ask for more as it is now.

RM400 with backlit mech keyboard.

So im deciding between so its also between red and brown xD
