guys, im new to mechanical kb here.. am looking forward to get CM Storm Quickfire pro with mx blue switch. i have a few question here

1 ) i found some review mention the double tap problem with mx blue switch. will the key still be inserted if we double tap it without fully lifting my finger up?

2 ) any feedback on this kb ? thanks

I'm thinking of getting another mech keyboard for my home use/gaming

I'm considering these few keyboards : Pure, CM Storm Trigger, G710+, Ducky Shine 2. Not really in a rush so I could wait. Anyone could give me suggestion on the keyboards listed?

What I generally need is - Backlight, I type a lot with lights off.

About G710, so I was told the OEM would be iOne, which a lot of people giving bad feedback about their QC, how true is it?

1. PBT Keycap(those blank one is KBC POM) by default
2. Wireless
3. Backlit-able(just add your own LED and it is good to go)
4. TKL but with numpad
5. PCB mounted for a lighter weight(though it isn't exactly the lightest board around)    444

Real man don't need backlit
Consider CM Storm QuickFire Rapid. It is tenkeyless and is around that price range.

Yes Ducky Shine 2 has internal memory now to store the last active backlit mode and also 2 user defined modes 

And well Ducky S2 has the "Kamisama no Memo Chou" mode - the Reactive mode

Back to topic, ya Costar style stabilizer really need to be careful when taking them apart, feel like they are so fragile... 

Rumour has it that the KBT One/Oni(made by Costar) has satellite switches (Cherry style stabilizers) that feel very very close to Costar wire style stabilizer

Odd length of spacebar? Which board you mentioning about?

Plum having pretty standard dimension for keycaps(except the 0 and 00 may be).

Though, one thing to be noted is that it using a spacing similar to Keycool(probably, will confirm again once I am free to take out my keycool spacebar to do a comparison).

Add backlit to those without specially prepared circuit or holes for LED are pain as HELL. Only few ppl are willing to go through all those hassle and risk. If you are still interested, try ask Bai101(a member here) on his experience to mod his non-BL keyboard and add LED.

The PLUM I recommended afternoon just now is different though. It already had predrilled holes for LED and even the wiring circuit for it. What lacks are just insert your own LED.

I am 80% touch typing i still need a lil bit more help especially when im like panic typing during games like league of legends i tend to blurt out random shit xD

Have anyone seen the Meth crystal keycaps yet? The shipping is sooooooooo expensive. Planning to order more than 30 keycaps, but it'll be around 13$ and the shipping alone is 8$. T.T

Oh, because i've read a lot of websites they all say that the Red's are really really light to the point its not nice for gaming and typing.

I've never used a mechanical keyboard before so would it be easy to get used to?

Filco stand by their own class if u on the budget get the cheaper one, if want brand+quality Filco shud be good

You might want to read from Mechanical Keyboard Club V1 to kick-start your researching on those mechanical keyboards and their feedbacks.
I did that. That's why I chose Filco and CM Rapid (both Costar made).

For your information, Filco Majestouch series and Rosewill RK9000 series are made by Costar. Rosewill RK9100 illuminated is by i-rocks.

Another poison for ORI cherry board users(but I doubt there are (m)any ORI cherry board users here).

My Filco blue switch has forever gone for RMA...    It was a long story.
Well at least the seller refunded me.

Now sticking with CM Rapid only 

So sad, one of my GasMask keycaps (+) juz got cracked, no wonder whenever i pressed this cracked kcaps its feel kinda stuck and the (+) oso juz slightly larger than others..

I think there was something wrong with the cable, whenever I move the cable, the connection just simply cut off. Have to twist the cable in certain direction then can connect the keyboard...

Then sent back for RMA, waited for 3 weeks then he say the keyboard ready already. Paid the shipping for him to ship  back, wait another week again for him to reply. After that when I received the keyboard, found that it is MX Brown
... I got a little anxious then I send him like 2 emails about the issue (also politely asking him to improve a bit), what I get back is a reply like "just return to replace", "stop sending emails about improving aftersales service and look at the calendar before you email, we don't work on weekends"... Seriously 

Then I was like okay, ship back again... Then for some reason the Poslaju cannot deliver the keyboard to him, 2 times, both on weekdays (I doubt he also close shop on weekdays  )
Then email him again to tell him about this, he say will go collect. Then one whole week no news from him... Email him again then he tell me MX Blue no stock...  Kinda fed up already then I ask for refund 
Anyway, I am now considering Rosewill RK9000, Ducky S2, CM Trigger, CM Rapid, or KBT One/Oni... 

Yeah the 3 year warranty kinda attracted me... Maybe I should wait for Heavyarm restock first

Not much review of KBT One/Oni about the feel difference of the stabilizers... Also a bit scared of getting faulty keyboard again... It would be a pain for the RMA process.. 

Not really, even if they released it, you'd have to wait longer just in case, and wait for reviews to be released.    So ducky is a good choice.
