and my monk gets arcane + vortex & my wiz gets knockback + nightmare

when i play barb, i was like always encountered triangle jail lock / immobilized + arcane on my feet made me unable to whirlwind away.. XD

Hey metal,

i've been checking out sleet storm build and i think is awesome man.

Anyway my thoughts on the Wiz class so far:

Pros:
1. Lots of build diversity
2. Challenging and requires constant prediction
3. Insane damage output despite what the paper DPS shows.
4. Fun to melt mobs/elites.
5. Can go lazy mode with archon

Cons:
1. FREAKING EXPENSIVE TO GEAR (yeah, coming from a former DH player)
2. Tired hands

All DPS gears, total AR = around 350. how to play monk?

and i tried playing monk twice, rolled two lvl 60 monk and just didn't like the style.

i think a lot of low AR monk around here lol

Now I wonder what will happen if I ported my monk's stuff over to DH.

I'm gonna see how sleetstorm will work with a LS skorn(if there is any cheap one). I bought a cheap 8.5mill skorn with LS for my TR Monk.

Next build to try is the Disintegrate Just saw some guy posted on Diablofans about this new build. ArchonWiz or something.



I'm one of them. damage buff from SoJ, Bell and zoom away with TR

you'll have too much EHP and with gloom even more but your DPS will suffer.

but the DH is a pretty easy class to gear because is a range class and it has the OP gloom. So defensive wise, gloom lets you get away with a lot of things that you would have to otherwise have to consider. So you can focus a lot on your offensive side of the game.

buffs to ray of frost as well? wow.

but damn, why did Blizzard not make an LS chantodo wand? WHY!????? I think with the LS wand, cm wiz is close to immortality man.

if want A, u lose B something like that

example is like slorak madness, instead of puting a useful affix they went for It finds ur death humorous
also wizardspike is actually a high end weapon, but it does not come with a single random affix

baba items are the most well made eg: IK, Stormshield

this is purely my own observation after trying out all classes.

I'm making an insane cm wiz.

I'm selling my chant set, unity rings x2, bk pants x2 and mempo also. Sold double speed chant wand already.

Wanted to abuse elemental damage but experiment fail.. Sigh..



But i really think this can give you tons of DPS. My Chant Wiz DPS at 2.6k INT < My Dagger Wiz DPS at 2k INT

Dagger Wiz DPS = 231k
Chant Wiz DPS = 227k

Ran through d3up.com and if can push dagger Wiz INT to 3k, you're looking at an extra 100k DPS but chant Wiz DPS at 3k INT is at extra 40k DPS.

Downside is the EHP lost is massive. Around 200k EHP lost from d3up.com

But LS is awesome on Wiz man.

Probably boost damage from other stuff? Amulet with avg damage

oh that experiment tak jadi la. Fail cuz EHP wise is horrible and my INT too low to fully benefit from the spec.

Of course, ...a 11 ias, cd, ls and os dagger definitely works with proper toon stats specs.

I'd tested such a dagger (is still in my stash) but with low dps in the past and was impressed by the result.

I was able to maintain 2.79 AS with the 9 AS dagger and my idea initially was to abuse elemental damage to gain well over 350k DPS on the CM wiz but the extremely tricky part was the EHP balance with total INT.

I mention previously that despite losing out on more than 500 INT stats, my DPS was higher with the dagger. Now imagine same INT stats with the dagger.

Anyway, I saw this video on a dagger + triumvirate + Zuni + Storm Crow CM wiz with total 34% elemental bonus cutting through MP10 elites within 20 seconds. Madness man.

Oh btw, I ran a few CM wiz specs on a WW/CM calculator and it seems that Moba you have a 86% freezing capability and those with say 300k DPS CM wiz at my breakpoint are at 77% capability. So I guess we can either get above 3 APS to freeze or drop some freezing capability and melt them before they get nasty.
