what shield you wearing? im considering on upgrading my current one for higher mp tanking for the uber bosses (that day on mp3 i was with 2 DH and 1 WD, naturally ill be the tank, and my tanking gear are so outdated/not on par it was a bit of trouble lol)

nah not really. the only thing you switch are skills/passives (free) and putting on the shield (cost...dirt cheap atm. at least much cheaper than a good LoH+LS + socketed high dps 1handed)

- contradiction:
LoH gears and IAS gears are not cheap

if you have gold for that, you can have gold for general dps (be it dex, cc, cd) and LS

and yeah the rubber banding can get REALLY funky, though they claimed that they fixed it (in previous patch after i have stopped using)

eh 26% base? its a storm shield or something? i think rares max roll on base block % is like 20% ish give/take.

and my d3 strictly to game. till this day i never touch the RMAH (or USD) button laugh.gif

yeah that is case i believe. just that the way sangtupperware said it also convinced/confused me sweat.gif

and yes, block is really important/good, because the block amount is AFTER your damage reduction. meaning you can negate damage 100% if lets say you take 1k dmg normally (after resist/armor and other calculations), and you manage to block, you take 0 dmg in total. (it will show a big block text and no dmg taken)

granted, you cannot block everything (eg: plague, desecration, general dots/debuffs etc)

provided you have 2k dex or more, cc/cd inflates dmg on your inventory the most.

case in point: i have ZERO IAS (only got 3% from enchantress lolololo) and i got ~50k unbuffed damage smile.gif

monks hit fairly fast by default if you're dual wielding so that isnt too big of a concern.

i get what, 1 less hit after like 30 hits or around 10 secs? (math wiz help me on this LOL!) while per hit i do is between 100-200k crits. really not a big deal at all lol.
