tried the uber bosses the first time on mp3 and 4 players. lol over 44 mil hp leoric and 37 mil hp maghda. was pretty fun doing clutch rezes all around XD

an almost maxed out roll WKL (socket, LS etc) was on 200-300mil

it scales ones' damage a lot by % based. not so much at low dps, however % based at high dps is always good
do also take note that WKL benefits doesnt directly add into your character screen. only the 6% lightning dmg and whatever it rolled (socket 100% crit dmg etc)

just done maghda, and went to oasis for key, no key lol.

you know, you have about 20k hp more than i do, and probably more armor/resist, and even using MOE hard target.

i am doing mp5.

if you're having higher defensive stats and/or higher LS/LoH then sure, face tank everything. if not, be creative (actually more like use common sense lol) and avoid danger. sitting in fire or arcane is NOT the way the game is meant to be played. people only do that because they are OVERGEARED for that content

imo under 1-2mil (which your normal gold picking without touching the AH can achieve EASILY) also can get decent state. do DEFINE decent/godly.

Added on October 29, 2012, 11:06 ami was a DR user too until i become a SW cookie cutter for more dps. FoT easily procs more SW/cyclone spawns so its a no brainer on the damage portion.

takes a little getting used to on the tele/positioning compared to DR however you'll eventually get it.

mp8 and above by most (including mine) are considered godly. in fact, any activity in inferno with mp levels aren't your standard/casual (or even "decent") playing levels.

300-400mil is definitely not casual/decent and is easily categorized as godly if that helps.

in fact i dont think i ever accumulated more than 30mil gold and my entire spending on my monk (not including diminishing values/inflation) are probably less than 40mil.

focus upgrade on either your shoulders/belt/chest

consider upgrading main hand too as it is rather slow and it does not have socket. not to mention your dps is a lil low to benefit from 2.2 LS, LoH (or a combination of LoH + LS) would be better

anything that's better than your current ones.

why the contradiction then?

if tanking is your first priority, you should be wearing a shield (do not forget shield bearers also can have decent/high dps because there are shields that easily add over 300 dex and 8-9%++ (cant remember the limit) crit chance)

not to mention your mantra should probably be MoE + hard target (there are many monks here who uses that mantra and still have very respectable/high dps)

i mean, you're using blade storm rune for ur SW instead of cyclone anyways for dmg consistencies and prolly lack of crit %, might as well have the entire build fashioned to that same goal that you've intended, no?

if you're going to MoE as i suggested, can consider Guardian's path (if you insist on dual wielding), guiding light if you coop, or resolve (or transcendence so you can get healed while spamming MoE mantra when SW is already up) if you're solo + shield (this will let you tank a LOT better, and you can prolly focus more stats on dps)

that's where the AH comes in lol. shields aren't as expensive as weapons because everyone and their DPS craze these days ignore shields lol.
1 of the legendary out of the 3 in my act 2 replaying is a stormshield (barb stats lol), i was happy until i check AH, can barely sell for a mil or 2

also, you're not losing a lot of aspd from going 1 handed, the dw bonus isn't as high as you may think
the main dmg boost from dw'ing is the 2nd socket of +80-100% crit dmg

and 36/7 k dps you can kill everything before you have tanking problems at mp7-8? i have problems killing even with 50-60k dps at mp5 solo

his point being that having a shield mitigates a LOT more dmg from the block and armor (and stats such as dex for dodging, vit for more eHP) in which you no longer need as high LS/LoH as you stated.
