QUOTE(norazwan79 @ Oct 11 2012, 04:50 PM) i dont mind about AP set. but why titanium grey more expensive than white color. +-rm150. limited stock or white color stock too many? but for SME set, there is no price difference for both colors. In the early days white was rm100 more

QUOTE(ivicmorrowi @ Oct 12 2012, 06:24 AM) Digi's website is up RM1399 (smart plan 88) on 24 month contract preorder for delivery on the 19th. No such thing as the phone locked to Digi right? Sorry if this is noob question. Malaysia telcos DO NOT practiced locking unlike some other countries. Buy from Digi and you can use any local telco or even unlock foreign telco simcard Added on October 12, 2012, 6:27 amQUOTE(keeekeee @ Oct 12 2012, 06:24 AM) my cousin in HK said that HK lauching LTE model soon. HKD 6xxx our local set is only 3G? is it? YES, only 3G This post has been edited by benny888: Oct 12 2012, 06:27 AM

QUOTE(Ivancck @ Oct 12 2012, 07:17 AM) I was approached by someone who claimed could sell me a sme set tomorrow. I would like to make sure if it is a genuine one. Rather than examine only the "packaging' , I wonder if I could validate via the Rom. Pls advice. Unfortunately this time msian sets rom comes with European rom which are now also mainly AP sets SME sets will have distinct ewarranty stickers in box front n s SME distribution sticker at back of box You can call samsung helpline 1800889999 on spot n verify quoting them IMEI number

QUOTE(Ivancck @ Oct 12 2012, 07:29 AM) I mean genuine sme galaxy note 2. I suppose it is hard to stop insider to get things out from the 'orthodox' distribution channel of sme. Would appreciate if fellow formers can advice. Thanks Make sure is a sealed box with samsung stickers Open tampered units are obvious Unless seller goes to great lengths to even change the box If you are paranoid than buy from authorized retail

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Oct 12 2012, 07:35 AM) You mean it's actually genuine SME Note2 set and available tomorrow.? I heard SME set only available by 19th onwards. But to make it safe..ask the seller to register the e-warranty on the spot for your. That should handle any issue whether the phone is genuine SME set. Or you can do like Uncle Benny advice. Call service centre and quote the said phone imei to them for verification. Good luck bro Calling to verify imei is still best way

The Digi advance payment will be rebated back to you over your sign contract period. Basically you will still get phone cheaper nett . As said before this is to avoid unscrupulous buyers selling off the phone to make a profit immediately Come on, there are no free stuffs in this world. However if you did need to use at least RM48 worth of data monthly, it is still cheaper buy BUT you are tied down to a 24 month contract with Digi You save the advance payment over the contract period - consider as long term savings not immediate savings

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Oct 12 2012, 08:33 AM) could just be the normal Note 10 roadshow, actually... seen a few of these road shows... imho, the hubs are ridiculously useless... the kobo that came with hub on Note 1... so stripped down of functions... din even have night mode. ended up with me having to install kobo from market (yes, 2 copies on 1 phone -- so silly). You can always uninstall those Hubs if you do not need it or just disabled it at settings/applications I uninstall all the Samsung hubs as i dont use it plus various other samsung widgets Only Samsung stuffs i use is the weather widget, SNote and SPlanner

QUOTE(H3LLKEEPER @ Oct 12 2012, 08:57 AM) seriously it depends on people for me i talk very less and surf internet a lot(especially lurking this forum) i got another phone for calls, one phone for internet. im considering digi s-plan 48 with 12 months with the note II since it is cheaper for me In that case Digi is bad choice as their download speeds average 700-800 kbps only , at times you might hit 1000+ kbps In contract Maxis and Celcom will easily give you 2 times to 8 times ( 2000kbps to 8000kbps) You buy cheap you get cheap poor service This post has been edited by benny888: Oct 12 2012, 09:06 AM
