As mentioned in my previous reply, there's nothing interesting with the HP 15.6" laptop lineups laugh.gif
The notebooks you mentioned are seriously overpriced for the spec you get...
For that price you can get a laptop with FullHD screen, and a much better GPU brows.gif

hello.. im thinking of getting lenovo G480, i3-3110M + Nvidia GT635M@RM1499, 2GB, 500GB(5400rpm), FreeDOS.
used it for work,assignments and of course gaming(dota 2, pes, fifa )
should i get i5 or i3 is enough? and is gt635 is much better than 630? lastly should i upgrade ram to 8gb or 4gb is enough? i always play dota and alt tab to check fb also.. biggrin.gif

1.preferred brand - Asus
2.budget - 1.5k to 2k. Cheapest will be great.
3.usage - gaming. Heaviest game is dota 2.
4.screen size - any.

just a simulation project using matlab simulink. oh ok tq. but 635 still better than 640 rite?

Thanks..i think i'll go for Asus [Ultrabook]K46CM-WX060V.. As long it can run dota2 smoothly..unlike hp with overheating problem..

Hey guys will like to ask opinion on ASUS K46CM and ASUS S56CM,
The price difference is around RM300 - correct me if im wrong, but is worth it to spend the extra money to get a bumped specs of only a larger screen 14" (K46CM) and 15.6" (S56CM)h and also a 24GB SSD + 500 GB (S56CM) and the K46CM only 500GB. Others are the same specs. And any problems with the models mentioned??
