You do know Intel HD 4000 can handle dota 2 and HoN right? The MBA is definitely the clear choice in this case (assuming your dad will not experience any software incompatibilities at his work) The currently lineups of ultrabooks from Toshiba are not really very comfortable to use |

An ULV processor consumes less power at the expense of CPU performance. Still, since your usage doesn't really require a lot of processing power, and since you are into gaming, its better to go for one that has a better GPU... unless if portability is extremely important to you |

What TJ said was, yes, the 3210M consume more power than 3317U, but in return also give you more processing power. An ULV processor consumes less power at the expense of CPU performance. Still, since your usage doesn't really require a lot of processing power, and since you are into gaming, its better to go for one that has a better GPU... unless if portability is extremely important to you At this budget, the GPU is the bottleneck of gaming performance. The GT645M is better than the GT635M, but GT635M can play MOBA (I supposed you mean like DOTA 2, League of Legend). FPS, it depends on game titles and the resolution / details level. So overall, you have to decide whether the "light, thin" is more important, or the gaming performance is more important to you |
