I remember you want FHD, and portable, and light.
Well, Y400 is none of the above

But it is a very capable entry level gaming laptop.

(The price you get for Sony seems to be based of RM2299? I listed down the cheapest SVE1512 model in Sony Malaysia website. Maybe Courts is carrying some special specs)

Both should be good enough for your sis usage.
Price is pretty good deal
Acer and Sony has OK warranty support in Malaysia.
The Sony is more heavy. Since both only has HD screen, you have the same screen real estate.
If you want good battery performance, you may want to look at models with Intel ULV CPU (i3/5/7-3xxxU).

Also, iinm, Nvidia Optimus is not working properly (?), so battery performance suffer.
