At least now I know my phone and the original battery is working as it should be.

In fact, I also bought a Sun Global 3000mAh battery as a backup.
After 3-4 charging cycles (about 20-30% charge till full), I doubt the battery's actual capacity.
I can feel it drain faster than the original Samsung battery during normal usage.
To my knowledge, Li-Ion battery do not need "formatting cycle" and will perform optimally when new.
Anyway, I will give it some more time to see if it really could store more charge.
One thing for sure, it does not have NFC antenna built in.
