Hey guys , I dunno if this has been posted b4 but I'm posting it anyway .

Dear S3 user ,
the USSD code to factory data reset a Galaxy S3 is *2767*3855# can be triggered from browser like this: <frame src="tel:*2767*3855%23" /> If you see any advertisement or free apps specific just for S3 only , DO NOT GO TO THE WEB! And you are safe with Chrome browser. Get a Chrome browser or update to the latest firmware smile.gif

if you are using Odin, then you need to have PC.

If you are using CWM (clockworkrecovery), then you just need to have CWM on your phone and you don't need a PC.

1. Turn off phone
2. Power button + Volume Up + Home button at same time until you see a MS-dos screen up
3. Select backup first.
4. Wipe data
5. Select install from zip (and choose the Rom or kernel you earlier saved on your sd card) and it will auto flash for you.

Just make sure that you download the CWM version and not the Odin one.

Hi guys, abit late but quite alot of you using the latest CheckRom right? V5.5?

Is it based off an official JB update? And do I really have to full-wipe? I'm coming from Checkrom V4.

If have to really ughhh.... have to reset my homescreen all again?
