guys just asking, i flash to synah kernel and now overclocking to 1.7ghz, the battery temp when charging is 40+ , maximum 45 minum 40, is this consider good or should I lower the frequency ?

I was shopping around KL, KotaRaya area, and was asking the price for S3.

The prices I was given were:

RM2199 1 year SME warranty Original
RM2099 1 year SME warranty Original

Can I ask everyone here is the lowest price too good to be true?.

bro u got ripped off.. usually above 2k stuff , u ought to get at least a screen protector.just ask for it. depends on how u talk. u pay so much and the shop dun wan give a screen protector??? a cheap protector doesnt matter as long its a protector... how bout other people? have u face this kind of situation? do u think its ok to have just the phone without any freebies like  screen protector or other accessories? give cheaplak 1 oso doesnt matter, as long got give something.

try to call  your telco .last time i work with a telco. MCMC was pushing for phone baring feature in case your phone got stolen  your telco can block it within Malaysia but not sure if its implemented now. if u dont know your IMEI, no prob they can detect your most recent phone model with its IMEI

Can some one help clarify this...

Charging battery with the phone switched OFF.
When fully charged, switch it ON and leave it there for around 3½ hours.
So it "consumed" 2% of battery just like that? (a while of screen capture and few button pressed, another 1% gone)
I just want to know is this consider normal?



I don't know why I keep seeing this "Location" service (or Map) activated?
Why it keeps updating my location? How to find out which app is "calling" my Location service?

Sometimes, even if I never use LINE, but I can see it appeared on top of the list consuming power.

At least now I know my phone and the original battery is working as it should be. 

In fact, I also bought a Sun Global 3000mAh battery as a backup.
After 3-4 charging cycles (about 20-30% charge till full), I doubt the battery's actual capacity.
I can feel it drain faster than the original Samsung battery during normal usage.
To my knowledge, Li-Ion battery do not need "formatting cycle" and will perform optimally when new.
Anyway, I will give it some more time to see if it really could store more charge.
One thing for sure, it does not have NFC antenna built in.

Any1 install chainfire3d? When I tried to install/download the driver from the app itself, it will ask of not compatible, will cause the phone won't boot. So, any1 with stock rom, mine is wanamlite3.7, installed with it?

Or I need to follow jacyeooi way to download driver manually.
